This hotel is rich in tradition and is perfectly located in Sandwich, close to a selection of beaches.Constructed in 1845, this elegant, air-conditioned hotel on the site of a former inn frequented by the 19th century American statesman Daniel Webster was renovated in 2005 and comprises a total of 48 rooms spread over 3 floors. The lobby features a 24-hour reception, a safe, a cloakroom and a lift. Facilities on offer include a bar, an outstanding restaurant and a tavern serving snacks. Room service and free parking spaces complete the offerings.All of the luxurious rooms are appointed in a warm, elegant colonial style and come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a coffee machine and ironing equipment. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, carpeted floors and individually adjustable heating and air conditioning. All rooms have 1 queen bed and can accomodate 2 adults maximum. There is a heated swimming pool in the grounds. Guests may also take advantage of the Jacuzzi and various massage treatments on offer (charges apply). The neighbouring health club, which offers a complete spa service, can also be used free of charge.
