Holiday Inn Express Andover North Lawrence an IHG Hotel

The Holiday Inn adds $50 to the room rate at check-in as a potential damage fee, but this is not refunded at the time of check-out. Rather one is told it could take a "few days" for it to get charged back to the credit card. Essentially, Holiday Inn/IHG is increasing its cash flow at the expense of its guests. Why should it take several days to get this excess charge back? Why is it not just a block on the card at check-in and then released at check-out as other hotels do? I would have stayed at another hotel if I knew there would be this charge.

Very nice and well-kept hotel. Clean and the staff is outstanding. Helped get medical equipment and bags to our room! What service! Wilmer was exceptional. Only downside was trying to find the entrance to hotel. Advice: USE THE DUNKIN DONUTS PARKING LOT TO ACCES THE HOTEL. Would stay here again.

This hotel is horribly maintained. Leaking popcorn ceilings, stapled wall “paper”, banged up furniture. And the elevators for two consecutive years have been inoperative. How do hotels such as this continue to charge customers top dollar for horrible accommodations?

We were looking for a hotel for a stopover on our drive from Canda to Pennsylvania in July. All of the hotels on our route inMaine and New Hampshire were terribly expensive. We continued on and stayed here at this Holiday Inn Express. We arrived in the evening and left in the morning so were not there long but we pleased to find a place that was clean and comfortable at a pretty decent price. Airport style luggage cart was helpful for wheeling in our various bags and bundles. Staff were fine. Breakfast was fine. As others have mentioned the entrance was a bit tricky. We arrived at night and passed the property the first time as it is tucked behind a gas station and is difficult to see from the road. Apart from that we were pleased.
