Capri Motel

A very friendly older hotel.This hotel met all of my needs with a smile and a friendly grace that I really appreciated. They went out of their way to accommodate me with the small stuff and needs and really made me feel safe and welcome. This is an older hotel. This is more of a no-frills type of place. So if you would prefer to go to an expensive place, feel free to give somebody else lots of your money. In the meantime, I will thoroughly enjoy staying here and recommend it to everybody I know.

To start with this room smelled so bad, had that very, very old smoke smell. The air conditioner was caked with dust. the worst part was in the bathroom, it had a window that had cardboard taped over half of it. We left right after seeing the window. Unfortunately they are fighting on refunding us our money. The office staff/owner were very polite until we let them know we would not be staying the night and we asked for our money back.

Real nice room. Concise is a better word than small. It had everything we needed without all the cheesy trappings of chain motels. Well decorated. No Styrofoam cups. Not a lot of other guests, so it was quiet. Except for the air conditioner. Courteous, nice owners. Real clean and comfortable. Easy access to vehicle. Scottsbluff in the background. Way cool!

I understand that this hotel is pretty cheap so for someone who wants all the frills, this wouldn't be the hotel for you. I would say I am pretty laid back and don't make much fuss but did have some hesitations on my room. Pros-AC worked great, TV has cable and HBO, refrigirator and microwave worked and the doors have locks and WIFI was great. Cons: Shady area, Bathroom towels went from white to a really off shade of white(if you get my drift) also, went to check out at 7 AM and had to give my key to maintenance as no one was at the front desk and one of the beds was sunk in the middle. If you can handle not the most frills and just want somewhere to rest then this place will do it for you.

It's cheap...but sketchy as hell....old mattresses outside....the owner is nice, but there are people there that are scary....cops even came by twice on a Saturday.... The good news...the a/c in the room worked. The room was not very nice, but I expected that part for the price.
