not that great went to check in ihr early after traveling not allowed to even though the roo was ready and the place was empty.fisrt night not to bad secound and third not so peaceful.we werent told they had booked the rast of motel for dog owners barking and whining was pleasent 545 am and 930 pm not restful .wish they had told us when check in they knew we didnt have a dog.there was a dog show all weenkend . pool was nice rome was clean fridge not working oh weel i wont returnnot for the amount charged.

This is an older property on the banks of a saltwater pond. Our room was on the lower level overlooking the pond. It was nice that our room had this view along with an outside table and bbq grill and I can see that this could be a bonus for a family keen on keeping down costs and eating in, but who is really going to cook anything when you have a tiny motel fridge and nowhere for meal prep? And, while you might think it nice to keep the sliding door open for fresh air, the pond gives off a fairly strong pond smell that is not that refreshing. The beds and pillows were soft and lumpy, the towels were thin and scratchy. The room came with 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 0 wash cloths for a family of 4. There are basically no amenities (2 tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner for a family of 4). No luggage rack. Although the room was clean, the floors were pretty dirty so we had to use one of the hand towels to clean it. (They of course gave us more towels upon asking.) Unfortunately, this was pretty much the best deal we could find for a busy weekend in July but at $300/night, that's more than we spend on a nice hotel in NYC! (It's good to know they accept pets and I can see that this would be a good place if you are traveling with your dog.)

There were so few reviews so I was nervous about what to expect. Everywhere in the cape is expensive this time of year. Given that, the price was extremely fair. Our room was dated as expected, but very clean. It came with a basic coffee pot and refrigerator. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. I even saw the housekeeping crew washing and changing comforters, which I assume rarely happens in most hotels. The pool was immaculate and warm. My kids swam most of the time we were there. There is a little beach, not for swimming, but nice for my dog. I think you can rent paddle boats but we didn’t look into this as we were only there 1 night. The back area around the pool has tables and is grassy. We had our dog hanging out there while the kids swam. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice motel situated in a woodsy setting. Very clean. Has a nice pool and a beach on the inlet of the ocean. Staff very efficient and personable. We stayed at other motels in the area for much more money that were nowhere near as nice. We'll definitely be back.

Me, my husband , adult daughter, her boyfriend and 2 dogs stayed in the kitchenette water view room for 5 nights . It was clean , the pool was nice temp as well as clean . Our first few nights we basically had the hotel to ourselves for the most part . Which was great . It did get busy Friday night and we checked out on a Saturday . Great place to bring your dog with you on vacation . We were able to use our own kayaks right from the property which was nice . It is a short drive to the beach (even road the electric bikes there ) as well as a short drive to shopping on Maine st . We did not swim in the water where the dock is on the property , not sure it’s even allowed . Hotel is short staffed as pretty much everywhere is these days but the staff that was there were very nice . Our room hadn’t been updated in quite a while but we were fine with that since it was clean . We will definitely be staying there again .
