Berkshire Travel Lodge

Advertised as newly renovated, this place was a filthy dump. Stains on the bedding, towels, and furniture. Smelled awful. Piles of trash on the ground outside. Stained shower curtain. Single lamp with a shade that looked like a lawn mower ran it over. Not enough space to describe how awful it was.

Rented 2 rooms with friends. Pool advertised is out of order , smells bad , dirty. Asthma already bothering me from smell . Pics show dirt on bathroom floor, sink dirty , only toilet seat cleaned, shower dirty, mattresses old. Sheets appear to be washed , but I doubt bed spread have been in a while.

Very dirty I would not recommend this hotel.Not good lighting outside of motel.Walls had spills of milk pop, microwave and fridge were very dirty ,we did not use these.We did not see any pool, and the pictures of the place they post are very out dated like 10 -15 years. very run down

Reeks of mildew and bleach. Grimey. Towels with big holes. Breakfast of cellophaned buy-in-bulk crap cake and no juice. WiFi was weak. Place gave me the willies. Didn't want to put any of my things on any soft surfaces, chairs, rugs, etc.

I didn't last 15 minutes before I literally bugged out. Aside from smelling like the inside of a cheap car wash hanging scent thing-the carpet was torn, the lights were dull, the place was filthy, the door had no real lock and I was scared to even sit on the bed, never mind sleep in it. The internet had no password so I only stayed long enough to do a google search on my phone to find another place to stay---how can places this gross stay in business---you could not pay me enough to stay here ever again!
