Find somewhere else!!! Hotel rooms are very run down. Rooms had a horrible smell. My daughter’s allergies and asthma were horrible when we were in the room. Coughing all night but fine when we left the room. Most likely the problem was the dust and mold/musty smell. Everything was falling apart, particularly in the bathroom. I can’t believe I paid $200 a night to stay here.

I honestly don’t know where to begin with how horrible my stay at the Boxboro Regency Hotel was. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. To start, the room was an absolute disaster. The moment I walked in, I was assaulted by a strong, musty smell that made it impossible to breathe. Upon further inspection, I noticed black mold on the walls and ceiling—disgusting. It’s beyond me how any hotel could let this level of filth slide, and yet here we are. The bathroom was filthy, with rust stains all over the shower fixtures and the grout looking like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. And then, the air conditioning. It didn’t work at all. The room was sweltering, and after hours of being uncomfortable, I reached out to the staff to fix the issue. They were completely dismissive and refused to send anyone to address the problem, telling me there was nothing they could do because they didn't turn on the air conditioning until "the hot season". So, I had to spend the entire night in a hot, sticky room—another reason this place is a complete failure. When I tried to bring up my concerns to the staff, they were completely unhelpful and made it clear they couldn't care less. No apologies, no solutions—just an awful attitude all around. This hotel is an absolute disgrace. Between the mold, broken air conditioning, filthy bathroom, and unusable pool, there’s nothing good to say about this place. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. I will NEVER be returning to the Boxboro Regency, and I strongly recommend you avoid it as well.

What a dump. Filthy and falling apart. Mold and wet carpets everywhere. Room smells and bathroom is a disaster. Water doesn’t drain, smells like mold. I do not recommend staying here. Staff is friendly but that’s not enough, the hotel and rooms are pitiful.

Poor reviews are not being fair. Sure its old and outdated. I attended a wedding here in 1985 and it looks virtually the same. So if you are looking for a brand new spiffy trendy place this is not it. But they still do lots of functions here and keep the common areas clean and neat. There was a someone cleaning and sprucing up every time I was in the open area. Pool is clean and great for kids. Coffee in lobby in morning and to-go full breakfast Wednesday thru Sunday. Bar open Tuesday thru Sunday. Room was very clean, smelled nice, no bugs, mold, or other hazards some people mentioned. Everything worked. Quiet room, even with people next door. Get on booking.com , Agoda, etc. and you'll pay under $100 for a suburban Boston hotel. Good deal! There isn't much to do or many restaurants nearby, so plan to drive to everything. Watch out for deer!
