I am a Bonvoy member and was upgraded upon arrival. Room was spotless and the view of river was exceptional!! The staff very accommodating, as well as helpful with their suggestions for places to eat, etc.Bernardo a host at the Bar10 was very attentive as well as ensuring every customer had the best service. The Bar10 had a great bar as well. On the downside, apparently there was a conference with teenagers apparently in high school (a large group)at the hotel for a few days (not exactly sure how long)over the weekend! One evening They were in the lobby throwing their things, jackets etc on the floor of the lobby area. I never actually saw at supervision… they were also loud in the hallway!! With the exception of this group the receptionist, cleaning staff etc were very accommodating and professional. This hotel is close to Northeastern university as well as back Bay Area. Our thanks to Bernardo and the concierge, and receptionist.

Staff was unfailingly nice. Terrific, spacious, well-supplied gym. Wonderful housekeeping. Spectacular thick towels. Updated decor, including LVP flooring and heavy light-blocking drapes. We had the "Larger Guest room, 1 King, City view, Corner room" shown on the website: the piece of furniture in the photo that looks like a dresser is not: it is the minifridge on the right, and coffeemaker and ice bucket on the left. There is actually no dresser at all: one small working drawer in each bedside table. At least there were two luggage racks, since we had to live out of our suitcases with bulky winter clothing for a week. The table was as shown, sturdy but lacking task lighting. No racks for wet washcloths or towels, but room was cleaned daily so we always had fresh towels. Small note: the vaunted "Heavenly" robe is a flimsy morsel of static-y microfiber, sized for a petite person. Finally, only 3 of 7 elevators in a large, busy hotel appeared to be working. This was annoying, especially during busy breakfast hours, but would not keep us from returning.

We stayed at the Westin Copley Place, Boston while attending the World Figure Skating Championships at TD Garden. It was one of the hotels that partnered with the event and we received a very good rate for a double queen room. Three of us stayed in the room and it was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated having a small refrigerator in the room. Housekeeping was impeccable. One suggestion would be to add a upholstered chair. The only seating in the room was a desk chair. The location was fairly convenient and the neighborhood is lovely. Be sure to stop in the Boston Public Library (just across the street). The architecture and murals are worth a visit and there's a nice cafe inside. We also shopped at the nearby Star Market grocery store. We bought a Charlie Card weekly pass and were able to travel easily around the city using public transportation. Our room was on the 32nd floor and had a stunning view of the Back Bay and Charles River.

I am staying at this Westin for a conference in a few days. I have spent over 90 minutes trying to call the front desk of the hotel. The number they sent in the email confirmation takes you to general reservations, who, one associate said, could not transfer the call. Another representative suggested I push zero to by pass the long AI options to connect to the hotel, which I had already tried. When I tried again, I received the same "invalid option" message. A third call landed me with a representative who gave me a "valid" email address. It came back as "invalid address." The "direct number" for the hotel on the Bonvoy app, once again, takes you to general reservations and the frustrating process repeats itself. I had a similar experience using the number on TripAdvisor. I have a child who is a bit poorly and need a back up number for the hotel to give her minder in case my mobile does not work. If I could cancel the reservation without being charged for 4 nights and switch hotels at the conference rate, I would. This process has given me migraine and is miles away from "4 star service." Westin Copley Place advertises to help you "Find your balance." If trying to contact the hotel, it should say "throw you off balance." Bloody horrible customer service!

I used to love this hotel. Its service levels were great. Now that’s all gone . I don’t know if it is new management but it’s terribly sad to witness the decline . As an Ambassador member I used to receive a friendly welcome with a small number of chocolates on arrival . Now nothing . Room service has been abolished . I tried to order some and was hung up on - ‘we don’t do room service’ . I then discovered you can order online . But gone are the plates and the pleasant meal at the table on the room. Now - if it’s not pick up only - you get a brown bag delivered of take out food…such a shame
