We experienced the loudest group of people (10-20) in the room next door. The party lasted until 5 am nonstop. Slamming doors, screaming, laughing, banging walls, running in the halls, etc. It was impossible to sleep which made for a very long day of driving. Hampton Inn had to know this party was going on. It was too loud for people not to have reported it yet nothing was done. The loudest room Iāve ever heard in 60 years. It was like something out of a movie. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Also I notified the desk clerk and no response.

We did not have a great stay here and left early. The "good" is that room was a good size, and it was clean. After that, not much goes into the good column. Our bathroom had a barn door that doubled as the closet door. When you close the bathroom door, it opens the closet, which I found odd. And it didn't lock, which I think is even odder. We all get the idea that if the bathroom door is closed, it's occupied, but some of us still would like to lock the door. We can get past this, though. There were two other issues that will make us look elsewhere in the future. The WiFi is terrible. We signed into the basic room WiFi and it would often simply disconnect with a popup to open our browser to reconnect. It reconnected quickly, but this happened very often, anywhere from 10 minutes to hourly, with no pattern. I told the front desk, they told me the wireless was recently replaced, and had no solution to offer. When I was downstairs I was told I could sign into the "Lobby" WiFi, and that was stable, but I wanted to work in my room. They need to fix this or they'll lose more travelers, as they lost my family and me. The second issue was that our room turned very cold, 62 degrees, if we left for a few hours. This, despite the fact that we left it set at 72 degrees. According to the desk attendant, the thermostat senses when the room is unoccupied and allows for a lower threshold than if the room is occupied. Imagine coming inside from a cold day, expecting a cozy room, and it was cold inside, as well. It warmed up eventually, but this happened a few times...we left for an event, came back it was cold, went out for dinner, came back and it was cold, etc. Literally the A/C-Heater was blowing cold air. It happened while I tried working in the room (in spite of lousy WiFi). I guess because I was at my desk a while, the thermostat didn't "see" me, and suddenly it was 68 degrees in the room, with cold air blowing, until I went over to the thermostat. They sent a maintenance guy, but as I explained to him, the issue isn't going to present once a guest arrives and the unit starts behaving. They'd have to send someone with the guest after a few hours of inactivity in the room. At any rate, it was uncomfortable and not at all what I am willing to pay for when staying at a hotel. The last minor annoyance is that the in-room phone had a terrible connection, buzzing loudly as I tried to call the front desk. While rarely used, in-room phones should function properly. So, we left early, at 6:30PM the night before check-out. I used the services of the hotel for the day for work, so I don't expect a refund for any part of our stay. I won't be back, though. As a last insult, as we left I wanted to tell the front desk attendant that we were leaving and why. There was nobody there. We waited a few minutes, nobody showed up. I left our key cards on the counter and walked out. There are too many hotels in the area to have to deal with this in the future.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Our room very comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. A nice breakfast buffet was offered. Parking was convenient to the main entrance. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Upon entering, the hotel had a stale and dirty smell. Carpets were stained and gross. See photos. The room also was not clean. Tabletop had icky burn mark and had dried up sticky splashes of someone's drink's remnants. Carpet was not vacuumed. There were random droppings on it. None of us wanted to shower or eat the complimentary breakfast offered just by seeing the condition of the hotel.
