Travelodge by Wyndham Hagerstown

I was given a room the tv did not work. They gave me another room the remote needed new batteries they fixed that. The smoke detector kept churping they were to change the battery but didn't. The worst thing of all they spray the rooms with super strength Raid. They sprayed the room right next to mine and the fumes of it came over into my room. I was never warned about it and my throat started closing shut and I couldn't breathe. was done I went to the office and demanded my money back and left. Will never go there again!!

My family and I have been here over a month, the first week here was not bad but after a week our children started hanging out and talking to some other kids that are here also. Today my wife went to the office to pay for another week and then this evening my wife was told by a guy named Bob that we needed to be out next week because of a curfew that kids need to be in rooms by 10 when our children are always in the room way before that time. But there are probably about 6 other kids who are out all hours of the night but I believe that they may receive some kind of assistance to be able to do w.e they want. We pay over 4,000 a month for two rooms. My children feel like they are being targeted due to the other children not needing to abide by the same rules so my children feel like they have to walk in eggshells and as a father I am protecting them. Our daughter did call him a jerk and my wife did make her apologize to him which she did apologize but he brought that up also and I even apologized also as me being an adult. So I take full responsibility for that. I had told him that he is threatening us to have to leave and he said that my daughter harassed him by calling him a jerk but I had said to him that is freedom of speech. But again I did apologize for my child's behavior and took responsibility for it. But this is my opinion and my reasoning because I do feel like my family is being targeted. I have pictures and videos of the other children since the first day we have been here that are always out past curfew. I will reach out to any proper business or corporate of motel 6. I have also reached out to other motel 6 and they said it is not in their policy about any curfews as long as you are quiet and stay to yourself it isn't a problem they said.

A really great place to stay whether you just need a short stay while traveling or on a longer stay for whatever reason. From the minute I walked thru the door I felt like making sure our stay was enjoyable was a priority. The staff is so nice and check in was so easy. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Even the smoking rooms smell like non smoking rooms you can't even tell the difference. The place looks great and you can tell the owner is really putting a lot into changing this place. Compared to other places around the way your treated is such a refreshing change. I'm so glad we decided to come here. Definitely recommend this place.

at first the lady working here was nice then when we tried to extend our stay our pastor called to try to pay for 3 nights and everything got weird and she got rude told me it was none of my business why they wernt accepting credit cards. and the issue wasnt even that they wernt accepting credit card it was that they were only allowing a 1 night extension at a time at this point in time, and I didnt find that out til we had already had to find a new hotel and filed a complaint with wyndahm

Hotel was fairly average in appearance. The rooms were slightly less nice as compared to the multiple other Travelodge's I've stayed at but they were not bad. Very decent hotel at a good price. Decent area.
