Hampton Inn Frederick

The hotel is in a great location with lots of local eating choices. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding for a Hampton. the food was well prepared and the area very clean and the attendants were constantly checking the area. The hotel and room was clean and well kept except.... everything inside my room is old and smelly. Including the rugs, furniature and beds. I see in some of the management comments indicate the hotel will be renovated soon. I plan to stay at this hotel in the future but will wait until the renovation has been completed.

We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament that was in Columbia. The best thing about this place was the bar/restaurant! The bartender was nice and gave great service. The food was also great. The rooms were less desirable. The bathroom needs renovated terribly and the rooms need updated. The amenities are great at this hotel. There's a large outdoor pool and lobby area. The breakfast also needs a little more attention. There was no waffle mix left and it wasn't really crowded at that point. It was out for more than 30 min. People were getting frustrated. Check in was smooth and everyone was friendly.

Conveniently located with many food options near by. Hotel front desk staff was very nice and polite. Unfortunately, the hotel is very dated, old and dirty. My family had problems breathing the air and after 2 nights all felt Ill from the air and dust in the rooms and the common area. Rooms are dark and dirty, wall paper is lifting off the walls. I would not recommend staying here.

Typical Hampton Hospitality...clean, quiet and friendly. Had to ask for water as HH customer. Breakfast was ok. Yogurt was warm. Handy location for our trip. It's nice to know what to expect, when on the road. Would use again, if traveling that way.

Very old and dated hotel. Got to our room… no hair conditioner in shower, no tissue, no hair dryer. Was told hotel has no tissue, but conditioner and hair dryer would be brought to room. Then noticed the AC was not working… room at 78 degrees. Moved to new room where temp is still too warm. Hallways also super hot. And lighting is horrible. Rooms 2 lamps… that’s it. We had a lightbulb burned out. Maintenance is a major issue here. Trying to check out early because the facility is so bad… being told we can’t because reservation was booked through a booking company… ugh. I can’t get out of here soon enough. Do not stay here
