La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway

Customers are loud and steal napkins/sugar/creamer etc from breakfast area. The cream cheese was all open. The juice machine was broken and dripping water/juice everywhere. The shower was moldy. one elevator was broken and the other was questionable. The cleaning service had to use the same elevator so better hope they didn't hop on with you and they huge cart. Dirty underwear in the hall. Noise. My double queen was a double full. I mean this could go on and on... awful place.

dirty hotel, only 1 elevator worked, hotel room had roaches so NASTY!!! upon arrival the room was not cleaned property- hair in sink stains on pillow cases, stains on furniture looks disgusting.went to ask for a cleaner room or for someone to clean was told no housekeeping at night, after going back & forth the manager went to clean the sink and change the bedding- did notmake a difference as we discovered roaches in the bathroom && the stand near the bed I will never stay here again!!!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at several LaQuinta Inns in the past, and have found them to be uniformly solid hotels. This, however, was not one of them. Not at all. I checked in, only to find that one of the hotel’s two elevators was out of service, and apparently had been for some time. The operational one had multiple dings in its steel walls. The hallway to my room was dingy, and the carpet appeared to not have been cleaned in a while. My room had no carpet…the flooring was vinyl planking, which wasn’t bad by itself. But the room had no sense of warmth, or anything that would make me feel welcome. In addition, a hole in one of the walls had been spackled up, but not repainted. The bed was a little too solid for my taste, but not horrible. But the next morning, I woke up and went into the bathroom, to be greeted by three cockroaches. Friendly, mind you, but scurrying away. In addition, the spigot in the bathtub pulled away from the wall when I pulled up the plug to enable the shower. It snapped back into place, but even so…. When I let the front desk clerk know about the roaches, he apologized profusely, saying that the management is in the process of replacing the 10-year-old carpet in many of the rooms. Oh. A nice touch was the free breakfast that was offered, consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage links, and the ever-present waffle maker. I was hesitant to eat there, because of the sanitary problems encountered in my room…but did so, without any problem. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to my event, and the low price. I guess I should have known better. Wyndham management should take another look at this LaQuinta property, and decide if it’s the kind of place they want their name associated with.

Roaches everywhere . Elevator broken. Sheets dirty and pillows not that fluffy. Smelly and moldy . The aspect of visiting this place under false advertisement. I will never visit again . I recommend you do the same . Do not waste your money. !

The worst experience I ever had. My daughter was electrocuted on our first day there due to faulty outlets while getting ready. We waited 12 hours for maintenance to come. When maintenance finally came that evening he moved us to a new room. I was then charged for the new room from my bank account which left us with no money for food or our travel to get back home. I had to have someone send us money. The maintenance man said that he would make sure I was refunded for my stay and now they only want to give me 20% back. We also found roaches and other safety issues.
