Hampton Inn Bowie

First off…in the era of Covid, I enjoy contactless visits. Digital key cards I enjoy. Upon my purchase, I was informed by “Janio” that the digital key feature was unavailable. When I inquired about compensation for my inconvenience, I was offered a brand new “key card” to use (Wowzers). When I arrived to the Hotel and checked in, I got off the elevator on the 2nd floor, and there was a ceiling tile missing in the hallway, with wires hanging low from the ceiling (DANGER!!!!). When I brought it to the attention of the front desk agent, no sympathy or concern was shown. My room looked very dated. Definitely not on my list to return. I love the Hampton Inn brand. This location needs major work!!!!

Pulled in to the hotel and thought it was weird for the location in a conner lot away from everything. Only about 10 cars in the parking lot. Got out of the car to get welcomed by a momma raccoon and its babies. Went and checked in the gentlemen the checked us in was very nice and helpful. Over night are car got broke in to along with 5 other vehicles. Manger would not come in to look at camera's. Asked to have the manger contact us we wanted to leave. No response back. Not to mention the blood on the sheets. After talking to employee sounds like it was a inside job. Every car that wasn't on camera got it.

Problem with the TV Channels. Junio took care of it. Moved me to another room - next door. Quick response and issue taken care of. Thank you Junio!! This place is in a great location, walk to 2 resturants. Jerry's Seafood!! Theater next door. Very safe area. Lots of food options. Again - Thankyou Junio!!

This property just started renovations and no where were we told it was so. Didn't have hot water in the shower in the morning for any of us before we left. Was told nothing could be done for us even though we stayed because we are Hilton Honors members. A lot of dust in the room with body hairs, especially between the mattress, box spring, and wall for both queen beds. I really don't recommend going to this property for at least 2 years so you don't run into the things we did during renovations.

Under construction but service was nice and room was clean. 4 miles from Bowie State University which is why we choose it. In for a campus visit. Right across from a mall and lots of eateries. For one night, no complaints. As we just checked in after flight and drive from Dulles haven’t had breakfast, so can’t comment on that. No USB ports in the room and TV reception is not great, but sure these things will be part of updates
