DO NOT STAY HERE. I worked in the hotel industry since 1987, and my family has stayed at dozens of hilton properties. The Hampton Inn baltimore bayview is by far the WORST hotel my family has experienced. The hotel charged us a $350 damage fee and refused to respond to my inquiries because there was no damage. A hotel is supposed to have proof, and their supposed to contact you. There's no proof, and they refused to answer my calls. This hotel is a SCAM! The room (400) was a disaster. The service was AWFUL. I contacted Corporate, and the hotel refused to respond to their corporate office. After I contacted the Hilton corporate office, the hotel took another $250 off my debit. I never experienced anything like this. I'm currently fighting to get my money back. DO NOT STAY HERE. THE HAMPTON INN BALTIMORE BAYVIEW WILL STEAL YOU MONEY IF YOU PUT A CREDIT OR DEBIT DOWN TO HOLD YOUR ROOM. THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND STEAL MORE.

I had an unfortunate experience at the Hampton Inn - Baltimore Bayview Campus. My arrival was delayed by a day due to a flight cancellation, and I requested that the hotel waive the charge for my first night as a courtesy. However, hotel management informed me that since I had inadvertently checked in digitally via the Hilton app when reviewing my reservation, they were unable to issue a refund. When I arrived the next day and checked in physically at the front desk, I explained my situation to Betty. My visit to Baltimore was under difficult circumstancesâmy father was hospitalized in critical conditionâso I was not in a position to dispute the matter at the time. I had hoped that common sense and compassion would prevail, but unfortunately, that was not the case. To make matters worse, I am a Diamond Honors member, yet I received no flexibility or understanding from management. Beyond the disappointing customer service, the condition of my room was unacceptable. The wallpaper was peeling, surfaces were stained/scuffed, and the floor was dirty. Hotel policy states that rooms are cleaned every other day, yet during my five-night stay, my room was never serviced. Overall, this was one of the worst Hampton properties I have encountered. The lack of attention to cleanliness and the unwillingness of management to accommodate guests in difficult situations demonstrate a disregard for both hospitality and basic customer service. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was one of the nicest and cleanest Hampton Inn's I have stayed at and I've stayed at many. My husband had surgery at Johns Hopkins, and I needed a place for one night. So happy I chose this hotel! Did not disappoint and I am picky about where I lay my head!

We have stayed at many different Hampton Innâs and we would not recommend staying at this one. First night there I was laying in the bed, got up and noticed something crawling on the pillow. Sure enough, it was a bed bug. Front desk apologized and moved us to a different room. He also stated we would be compensated with reward points due to this. I used to work in property management so I know that bed bugs can spread like wildfire and they are absolutely not something to mess around with! Front desk asked the manager for us about washing/drying our clothes. She told us that the manager said we would be reimbursed âthrough their insuranceâ. I figured it was a lie as Iâve never heard such a thing. Never were we contacted by the actual manager regarding the situation and never were we refunded either. Pretty crazy considering that was the least that could be done to ensure we donât 1. Spread anything into the new hotel room we were put in and 2. Bring them home with us. We paid over $30 in just laundry to make sure our items were clean after that. We ended up throwing away our suitcase, 2 blankets and our 2 expensive dog beds for our dogs to be on the safe side since our items were in that bed bug room for hours. Iâm pretty sure most other hotels wouldâve atleast refunded us for the laundry we had to do. Oh and as for us getting compensated for bed bugs in our room⌠we were given 8,000 points. Is it better than nothing? Sure. But thatâs a pretty laughable amount to give for such an issue especially considering us spending our own money to wash everything and throwing out expensive items⌠not to mention how paranoid we were the entire time we stayed the rest of the time. It was also around 2-3am when this happened and we didnât get to bed until 5am. I literally could not sleep most nights because of being so paranoid and scared that the new room had bed bugs too or that our stuff now had them. The rooms are also not cleaned thoroughly. In both rooms we were in behind the beds there was tons of trash, dirt and food. We were here to get our dogâs cancer treated at Johns Hopkins and this added to our already emotional and stressful situation. Honestly, do yourself a favor and listen to the negative reviews. We wouldnât ever book here again.

The hotel was in a convenient location. Close to the airport without feeling like it was. Breakfast included, made to order omelets, and lots of choices. Free parking. Only 10 minutes from downtown and 40 minutes to DC. Staff was very helpful.
