Aloft BWI Baltimore Washington International Airport

I arrived at the hotel after driving 2000 miles and was told their credit card machine was down, with no estimated when it would be back up, so they couldn’t check me in. They had my reservation and I presented a card, they just couldn’t give me a room. They called the manager but the decision stood. As a consequence, they sent me away to find a new hotel at the last minute in 18 degree weather. I’ve never experienced anything like it.

When I missed my connection on Dec 28, I needed to find a hotel quickly at 11pm at night. Aloft BIW in Linthicum Heights was great. The front desk associate was very friendly, informative and efficient. Five Stars for Francisco the shuttle service driver. He patiently explained where he would pick me up and was there quickly. He was friendly, professional and helped with my luggage. Thank you Francisco for the great service!

I arrived at BWI and thought I would take advantage of the hotel shuttle. I went the airport shuttle area and attempted to call the hotel to find about picking me up. The actual hotel number was difficult to find, I kept getting the reservation line and all I could get was to call the hotel directly. I finally find the number and select the shuttle service on the menu. The call ended up going to voicemail with a message that says do not leave a voicemail as the mailbox is not monitored and to keep calling until someone answers. I ended up speaking with a shuttle driver of a different hotel and explaining my story. The driver said that I didn't need to say anymore and he ended up taking me to the hotel. In my room I found that the power outlet under the bedside shelf was falling out of the wall and represented a shock and fire hazard and the television was leaning off of the wall. In the breakfast area the toaster was plugged into an outlet that did not have a cover plate, a shock and fire hazard. I wonder of the safety of the rest of the hotel.

Francisco was polite, attentive and very friendly! He picked us up from BWI after a long trip and couldn't have been nicer! Kudos th Francisco! We highly recommend parking at local hotels and enjoying personal service when traveling via airplanes.

We had a great time, Shelly and Michelle were the BEST shuttle drivers, they were nice, polite, and friendly! No long wait for transportation. The front attendants were professional and friendly. Located close to the airport and the train.
