Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks

Hotel was clean and provided what my family needed. Staff was friendly; kids enjoyed the long pool hours. The Trip Advisor booking said 2 queen beds but when checked in got 2 double beds. Was a little tight for 2 adults and 2 kids but we made it work!

I was very surprised to read the reviews as I went to write this one. Quite honestly, we experienced none of the issues mentioned. The room was great. The parking was easy. We did not have any issues with workers or dust although we did see one but was not an obstruction to us. The pool was big and the gym was being used quite a bit. The front desk staff was incredible and check in was perfect. They have a nice bar and restaurant open late for late arrivals. Super convenient hotel and the updates are quite noticeable since the they were the Marriott Sable Oaks. I would recommend and stay again.

We stayed at the Portland Sheraton with a bunch of families for a recent hockey tournament in the area. In addition to our group, the hotel was also having a dance competition in the confrence room(s). Our guests were all plesaed with the hotel. The rooms were all clean and the staff was great. The only feedback from the families was the lack of common spaces for the familes to meet. We ended up going to the pool area which at times gets very hot and stuffy. The food at breakfast (not included) was great. We did not eat at the restratunt for lunch/dinner. There are plenty of nearby eatieries within a short distance.

Kathryn and I spent three nights at the Stable Oaks Sheraton. Every morning we were met with friendly and attentive breakfast service from Susie. She accurately described tge menue choices and helped with a special order. Her attitude ensured that our day started well. We hope to see her on our next trip.

A nice hotel that has what you need. The room was very clean and the bed provided a couple good nights of sleep. The hotel has a Sheraton Comfort Station down the hall that was an unexpected plus if you've forgotten a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap etc...The gym was clean with plenty of space and newer machines for a great workout. A nice looking pool next door. Great hotel choice for a business traveler. I was not told at check -in there is a Sheraton Lounge (to the right of the front entrance, down the hall on the left) serving continental breakfast and having an evening reception. Check my pictures for the hours. I was only able to take advantage of the lounge on the last day of my visit. But it was worth it. I bought breakfast on the first day at the restaurant. The hotel is located up the hill away from mall traffic and the highway noise. Enjoy your stay.
