I had booked a wheelchair accessible room for my stay. I should have called before I left my home but thought the hotel would put me in a room that I requested AND be accessible but when I arrived my room wasn’t on the main (same level as the lobby), it was up on the 2nd floor I think the person working the desk had said. It wouldn’t had been a problem however the elevator was out of commission. The hotel should have called me to inform me that the room I had booked wasn’t available due to the fact of the elevator not working. I would have cancelled and booked elsewhere. I had arrived in Portland but went and shopped and had supper and didn’t arrive at the hotel till 10:30-10:45pm and wasn’t feeling like looking for another hotel that late at night. The room I ended up with was just a regular one but it had enough room to wheel around the bed but no accessible bathroom. I was disappointed as. I thought I was getting one that was. I was so pissed that I was up at 6:30 the next morning and got ready and left to head to Walmart to use a proper wheelchair bathroom. When checking out I mentioned my disappointment with the situation. They said they understood and would make a note of it. After I arrived home a few days later and spoke to them again and asked for a full refund which they agreed to do and I told them that I appreciated that. My lesson from this experience is to call the hotel ahead of time to confirm your booking a week before and then a couple days before arrival.

Bed missing a caster and tips back and forth. There’s broken trim, chipped paint, and exposed ac wiring. Lamps missing light bulbs and holes in chairs. Clock, phone, and vent don’t work. The “kitchen” has 2 gas burners that look like a fire hazard and 0 dishes or pans, available by request but not including soap or sponge. Worst hotel I have ever been to. Seems like a workaround for a slumlord to take advantage of people who don’t have another choice…

NOT smoke free, it is also home to druggies. The lobby and the rooms smell like pot. We opened the window to air out the room, then could not close the window. The towels were stained. the office chair in the room was stained. I feel sorry for the owners, because this hotel is new and in another two years it will be a dump. I cannot believe they are listing this place.

The guy at the reception, in addition to being unhelpful, seemed to be drugged at work! Dubious clientele. There are no Standards! Laundry ok but there are few machines for the number of rooms they have, you have to wait aaround 1 hour or more to get a machine (and I went in October). it's not very clean. Stay away Smell of drugs all over the place.
