AC Hotel by Marriott Portland Downtown Waterfront ME

Great, modern, sleek hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious, some with water views. I especially wanted to recognize Chrissy, who gave us superb service at breakfast for two mornings. And the breakfast is excellent by the way, actually an excellent value for $18. Highly recommended.

Still one of the best HH in town sitting at the bar on our way home. Both bartenders here are excellent and knowledgeable, engaging for a chat. The HH features a delicious hummus plate at $6 and the glass of red and draft beer are both $6 too. We are here at least 6 times a year even when not meeting guests we put up at the hotel. Keep it going, love it

We only stayed one night over Valentines weekend, but the King waterview room (3rd floor) was perfect. Good view of the harbor and a great location within walking distance to the restaurants on the docks. Other than a somewhat curt phone conversation with the front-desk regarding early check-in we had a very pleasant stay. Though to be fair, we've been told that we're just not used to the "New England" manner, which can seem a bit abrupt at first before warming up. Either way, we enjoyed and would stay again 👍

White knuckle drive to Portland in the 2/6/25 snowstorm from CT, 5.5 hrs vs. the normal 3. Valet/front desk staff just “good people”. Chrissy deserves an 11 out of 10 for her breakfast service; her kindness/attentiveness was appreciated!

I had a great stay at the AC Marriott Waterfront Portland, and I want to give a special shoutout to Chrissy, the waitress at breakfast. She was absolutely wonderful—attentive, quick, and incredibly friendly. Her warm and welcoming attitude made my mornings so much better. It’s clear she takes pride in providing excellent service, and it didn’t go unnoticed. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and comfortable, but Chrissy’s outstanding hospitality truly stood out. I highly this hotel, and I hope management recognizes her for the amazing job she does!
