DO NOT STAY HERE! The most disgusting, filthy, bug, mold infested place. Made mistake of not looking at rooms before paying. Didn’t stay, owner, Akim, sidestepping refund. We have reporting this scam!

So the morning woman in office seemed like she was better than anyone and just treats guests like dirt, when I asked about housekeeping people she was like they are live ins, I mean how rude to talk about co-workers that way, honestly I think owner needs to fire her and hire someone with a personality. Evening girl was pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping were great, very pleasant and helpful and does an awesome job, I had fresh towels everyday and were very helpful when I asked a question, I enjoyed speaking with them, funny. The owner needs to give them a raise, as it seems like they do everything. Owner needs to spend money on motel to fix things and update it, I mean the 60’s called they want their outdated stuff back. No breakfast there like it says. Wi-fi depending on where u are at. I reserved a non smoking room and they put me in a smoking room. Musty. They could of compensated me for my troubles but nope they don’t care. Seriously people I honestly think take all smoking rooms away. So now to other guests some stay here by the week or whatever, but they play music loud and fight with each other. They need to make people pay with a card and not let some people pay with cash. This place for the price should honestly have better people but nope. I stayed here only because it was cheap and I did job interviews and house hunting. So because of longer term I needed cheap but only thing positive was that rooms were clean thanks to housekeeping, and helpful when I had questions, other than that nope.

I had read the many previous negative reviews: I decided to stay here anyway. I was only in Willmar for one night. For those taking Jefferson Lines into Willmar, the motel is convenient as it is the bus stop. The price seemed lower than anywhere else in town. I agree with previous advisors that the building shows a lot of wear. The carpeting could use replacement. The air conditioning worked well. The shower and toilet were separated from the bedroom area by a pocket door. The motel is close to Robbins Park, less than 3 miles from the fairground and less than 1 mile to the Kandiyohi County Museum. The manager claimed that the promised free breakfast was not available due to Covid 19.

Carpet is nasty. Makes you wanna keep your shoes on. The laundry room is packed with junk. The dryer does not work and by the looks of the reviews it hasn't in along time. You run a hotel and you can't even have a working dryer?  This is not a place for kids!  Loud doors slamming kept us up till 4 am!! Place is filled with druggies and sketchy people. We kept all three locks locked.  I felt itchy while there. No bites so maybe just had the heebie jeebies.. maybe dust mites?  This place needs to be redone so bad.  Unless your are homeless or a man working construction on the road I WOULD NOT STAY HERE!  I will say the bathroom was clean and the shower was hot! Bedding smelt clean. We had a non smoking and we couldn't smell any smoke thankfully.

Got this hotel since it was cheap and available....doing a landscaping job on Green Lake. Two nights of no sleep after working hard labor morning until dark. Drug dealers, prostitutes and every other kind of riff raff going on. This shouldn't even be allowed on these types of websites to see and waste money on...its that horrible.
