Was okay, main entrance smelled like body odor terribly. Room was decent but could use some updating. Pool was alright. Just so strong of chlorine your eyes burned even being in the pool room and it was cold in there. But for 120 I guess you get what you pay for.

Clean hotel. Elderly lady at breakfast was great. Her replacement on her day off wasn't so good at keeping things stocked. Food was cold when she was there. Other staff members didn't acknowledge you. Pricing was high for location. Housekeeping did a good job at cleaning room, but didn't leave TP. Needed more washclothes in room for four nights.

This is our 2nd stay. I was told New ownership took over in July. I booked 2 rooms the end of September for my grandsons 1 yr birthday. 1 for 3 nights and 1 for 2 nights. I paid at time of booking through 3rd party Booking.com. Mistake 1. When I found out I had open house (teacher) on the day I was to arrive on the Thursday. I asked if I could be reimbursed for one night. Booking.com wrote letter asking hotel to make exception and reimburse me. They said it was up to the hotel. I was told hotel GM does not communicate with customers in person or by phone. I would have to email. I emailed explained my situation and forwarded all email threads from Booking.com. Hotel GM sent email (I can upload and add to pics) saying they would not make an exception that I booked under no refund. It's not like this was cheap. 2 hotel rooms cost over $1200 paid in full one month early. mistake 2. I drove 5 hours after my open house and arrived at 2:30am to the rudest woman who insisted nothing was her fault and i would NOT be able to leave a message to speak to the GM that weekend. - Pool Heater was Broke! pool was freezing -My room was not done and forgotten about at 9:30pm The soap dispensers fell both shower an sink and made a big mess. I had to clean it. housekeeping & maint. not available. "complimentary breakfast was NOT complimentary, you are charged a surcharge- It is NOT allowed to be brought to your room! A lady stood outside the dining area making sure no one You felt like a prisoner with her watching every move you move you made . - Only 3 pillows on each queen bed. When asked for additional pillows they said they acted like you were asking for something excessive and asked how many people were sleeping in the room! Are you serious?!!!! -Key CARDS TO ENTER BUILDINF STILL BROKEN! I was told in july when i stayed under old management that the hotel was transitioning to new management and they would be fixed. September 27th & they are STILL NOT fixed! Dangerous! they let anyone in to this facility! You ring the bell - they buzz anyone in! i can't even believe this was Not the I felt unsafe for my self AND my family! This should have been the FIRST item on list to be fixed! The hotel is located next to abandoned buildings on either side. - At time of booking I called hotel and told them i was coming with family (one month in advance) I asked them to put us on the first floor and next to or close to each other. We were NOT. one room was on the first floor and one room was way at the end on the second floor! - That weekend I again asked to speak to the GM, who i could CLEARLY SEE was in HIS OFFICE right across from the service desk! They refused again stating "he only communicates to customers through email!" I told them i Already emailed him and now i want to speak to him about the condition of my rooms! The fact that my room was completely undone and dirty and not even the way i left it when we came back at 9:30 pm on our second night and had to wait in the lobby for over 1/2 hour while they discussed who had that room during the day and why it wasn't done and who could they call to do it now. I can't even believe how awful this place is! It was the very worst experience i have had in my entire life of staying in hotels! Awful service! The Management is horrendous! The customer service! The pool was cloudy and cold! The breakfast was like eating in a prison with a warden standing over you making sure you did not take too much butter! or worse yet... take any breakfast to your room.. God help you if you did! My son and daughter live in 30 minutes from Bangor. My husband and i have new grandbabies and will be visiting monthly! I explained this in my email! I will NEVER ever stay at this facility Again! ever! I asked if the other quality in in bangor mall was powered by this owner and i was told in was NOT! I understand they are under choice Hotels now..but are different ownership! Choice Hotel needs to know how terrible the management at the Bangor Airport quality in is! It's bad for business and It's awful for customers! DO NOT STAY AT THE BANGOR AIRPORT QUALITY INN hotel! YOU WILL REGRET IT! TRUST ME!

The hotel was OK to stay at - nothing extra ordinary about the place. Affordable for a quick stop and there was food to eat in the morning. BUT the month after I stayed there I started receiving phone calls from what showed up as Choice Hotels - first 2 calls (different weeks) I did not pick up. I picked up the 3rd call and found out that it was a "Holiday for Free" scam that I wanted NOTHING to do with. Hopefully I was clear about the lose my number portion of the call before I hung up. Again, nice enough place to stay at - next time I pick a cheap hotel, I will be giving them a number that is not mine.

AVOID THIS DUMP LIKE THE PLAGUE! THIS HOTEL ROOM WAS ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL ROOMS WE'VE EVER HAD! BATHROOM ISSUES: 1. There was something that looked like dried diarrhea splatter on the front of the toilet that hadn't been cleaned up on the base of the toilet. 2. The liquid soap in the dispenser looked like it had been there forever and was partially congealed and looked disgusting. 3. The cheap folding door leading into the bathroom was broken in 4 places on the top, making it difficult for me to open and close. 4. The metal towel rack was so rusty I was glad I was up to date on my tetanus shot! BEDROOM ISSUES: 1. We reserved a King Size Bed Accessible Room on June 10, 2024 with our credit card. AFTER the cancellation date had gone by, staff notified us by email that our King Accessible Room had been given to someone else, and we now were assigned a 2 Queen Size Accessible Room. They were going to charge us for the stay if we cancelled, so we begrudgingly agreed to accept the room. 2. We got to the 2 Queen Beds Room, and as I had suspected, the room was too small, and I could not fit my wheelchair into the space between the two queen beds! The only option was for staff to push one of the beds against the wall to accommodate the wheelchair. This meant my husband had to get into the bed from my side and crawl across it. He had to sleep with his body up tight against the wall. It also meant that his CPAP hose had to be stretched from the nightstand across my side of the bed to reach him. 3. The hallway leading to the room had a raunchy odor. According to the staff, some of their "long term guests" apparently are allowed to cook in their rooms and open their doors so the stench comes out to the hall and other rooms. I had to spray our own air freshener in the room 3 times to get rid of the stench from other guests cooking. 3. Something (maybe the springs?) inside one of the beds squeaked/creaked very loudly whenever someone sat on the side of the bed (and we're both average size people). 4. The wooden desk had a long piece broken off the front, and it was left just sitting on the side of the desk. No one had reattached it back on the desk, or even bothered removing the jagged piece of broken wood from the room. 5. The room clearly hadn't been dusted in ages, as you could see a layer of dust everywhere, especially on the lamps. 6. When I opened the nightstand drawer, it contained a bunch of old ketchup packets from a prior guest. Who knows how long they'd been in there! 7. The microwave had what looked like a burn mark on the inside of it. 8. Young children were running around in the hallway and screeching at the top of their lungs after 10:00 P.M. BREAKFAST ISSUES: 1. The breakfast was served from 7:00 - 10:00 A.M. The scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage were merely lukewarm at best when we arrived at 7:15 A.M. and we did not see any microwave in the dining room to heat everything up. STAFF ISSUES: 1. We were told the Manager would be in before it was time for us to check out, but he never arrived. When we asked at about 10:00 A.M. if he was there yet, they said he'd be in later in the afternoon. 2. We had to take our complaints to and seek resolution from a very unpleasant woman who basically advised us that nothing could be done. Whenever I tried to speak, she kept interrupting me. SAFETY ISSUES: 1. One of the staff confided to us that the Bangor Police Department do regular nightly patrols at the hotel. EXTERIOR ISSUES: 1. Their parking lot is filthy and littered with trash. 2. The pavement is in horrible shape. QUALITY INN BANGOR AIRPORT IS A TOTAL DUMP! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
