The Revere is an average hotel in a great location. We chose The Revere for its proximity to the Wang Theatre and to Ostra (where we had dinnner). It was very convenient to be able to walk to The Wang and to dinner. The hotel itself is just ok. The room was a bit musty, and a wire was sort of hanging from the ceiling. Bed was comfortable. We liked that there was a balcony. The customer service from the staff was mediocre. I had pre-ordered a bottle of chilled Prosecco to be in the room when we arrived, and it was not. We called guest services twice to ask for it to be sent up. 45 minutes later we finally had to call and cancel it because we had to leave for dinner. That was annoying. Then, when checking out, we noticed they had charged us for the Prosecco. We asked them to please take it off the bill, and explained that we called twice and it was never sent up, and the woman at the front desk was not apologetic at all. Not even a “I’m sorry for the inconvenience”, nothing. Also, the night before we tried to grab a drink at the upstairs bar which we were told was open until 10:00. It was 9:00 when we arrived and the bartender was already closing up and acted somewhat annoyed that we were hoping to have a drink. I didn’t feel like dealing with him, so we just told him we would go downstairs to the Rebel’s Guild for a drink. I didn’t feel like dealing with someone who clearly felt he was being inconvenienced. The Rebel’s Guild bar was cool, and the bartender was very nice. Overall, it was an ok stay, good location, but I would not stay there again. Staff needs more training in hospitality. Rooms need some updating.

Shower was filled with hair before I took a shower. Every toilet seat was cracked and stained and should be replaced. Stain on the floor immediately inside my room. Bedside table cracked with some sort of glue or caulk on it. Outlet charging port was dirty. Stains on bathroom stall walls on conference floor. This hotel needs fresh eyes and more attention to details. Same way I keep writing this review and their automatic system says “hey you wrote a review, would you be willing to write another?” Um sure. Not sure why you want me to keep writing a poor review but sure! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Zach made our whole trip. He went above and beyond. 5 stars just for him. He made us feel like ViP. He did not have to but when he found out my husband and I just got married he upgraded us. I did not expect anything but he said he wanted to make our stay special. Thank you so much! I honestly thought he was joking when he said he upgraded us and I was beyond shocked by the gorgeous room.
