Best Western Ville Platte

Was there 6/15/24 was told I had to put an extra 50 deposit which would be credited back toy card in 7 working days. They check my room upon check out and said everything was perfect. It is now 7/8/24 and I still have not gotten my money credit back to my card. Lady at front desk very rude when I call to inquire about my money.

Stay anywhere but here!! Worst experience ever!! We have stayed at a lot of properties and have never had words with management at a hotel. Checking in my husband paid for a room for 2 adults and 2 children in case we had grandkids with us. He had asked for a double room but did not get one and was told by the woman at the desk he needed to “learn how to book a hotel room” which was not ok. We were there for a baseball tournament and after a very late game, we decided to give our room to family members (2 adults, 2 children) because they did not have a room for the night. As we were showing them to the room, this management couple, who were watching on video, followed us to our room demanding to know if our family were staying with us or just visiting. They made a big unnecessary scene in front of our grandchildren which is unacceptable!! We left our family in the room for the night and the lady had words for us again as we left the lobby. She even had words with our family later who also had issues including not being able to eat the breakfast there the three days they stayed because it was so horrible. We returned the next day to check on our family and the management couple who we didn’t interact with were arguing in the hallway. We would never feel comfortable staying there though we paid for the two nights we booked. As far as the property itself, it is in serious need of updating. But we have stayed in similar places where the nice customer service made up for it. Not here. There is no excuse for these people and the way they treat their guests—especially the woman’s horrible attitude. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to Opelousas…we were greeted with great customer service and a nice room far away from these people and this awful property!

Great hotel with a hometown feel. Reasonably priced and very clean. The internet work really well and it is fast. The hotel is in a good location and fairly close to the local restaurant's.

Upon making the reservation, we asked for a walk in shower. When my husband checked in he asked again. He did not receive the room. My husband has had total hip replacement which makes it hard for him to get in and out of a tub, but he was forced to. He also had knee problems and will soon need knee replacecment. We asked thte guy at the desk to change payment information and he said it would be a charge to do so. Never heard of that before. Needless to say, my husband is a native Ville Platte resident. We had stayed ther many times before, but not again.

So Happy I Can Get To My Living Ans Loving Hotel I Can Share With The Right People God Put Around Me And Don't Tolerate No Violence Around Children Are Around My Hotel GOD Bless Everyone I Can't Gotta GO But I'm Coming Back GOD And I Take To righteousness and show how to take care of people, and I love people that He The LORD Loves Me Amen!!!!!!
