Candlewood Suites Lake Charles Sulphur an IHG Hotel

I didn't know what to expect when staying here for work during the resent snow storm. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The staff was very polite and courteous. The room was spotless. I would stay here over many other hotels.

I'll start by saying that there were hotels closer to my jobsite that I passed up because it was well worth the little bit of extra drive time. I travel extensively for work and of the all the places I've stayed, this is certainly a contender for the top spot. I've stayed at this hotel many times over the last two years and really can't say enough about how wonderful the staff is here. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious and as I mentioned above, the staff and management is simply excellent. It really makes such a big difference when you're gone so much to have a friendly face and a kind word when you're coming and going. Many thanks to all the amazing folks working here (shout out to Ms. Debbie for many delightful late night chats) and I'll certainly be staying here again.

I gave my email but never got a message to join the Candlewood site, I had my 2 pets/ crystal was an amazing greeter and I can’t say enough about her. She is a true blessing to your establishment!! The room was wonderful- easy to let my l dog out to go to bathroom. Loved my stay there! Thank you an do can’t say enough about Crystals service!!

The rooms were very clean and very well lit. The little kitchen was equipted with a dishwasher, coffeemaker , microwave, refrigerator and a stove. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in suggesting places where to eat.

This is an extended stay hotel it offers free laundry machines and each room has its own kitchen. the pool area has several gas grills to use and they offer several items you can cook with like crock-pot George Foreman grill ect. The staff is friendly and helpful.
