voco St. James an IHG hotel

We stayed for 3 nights during the French quarter jazz festival. The location of the hotel is excellent just a 100 meters from canal street. Our room was fine a few issues strangely the bedding was not ironed and very creased , there were marks on the curtains and the room had no safe, we asked 3 times and eventually a safe was delivered. Coffee machine and fridge in the room were great . The rooms are not soundproof so you hear lots of noise from the corridor . Bed was very comfy.

Stayed here for a tournament at the Convention Center. Easy walking distance to the Center as well as many restaurants and not too far to the French Quarter. Room was fairly large with a desk and additional comfortable chair. The king bed was reasonably comfortable. Enjoyed the toiletries in the good-sized bathroom. Coffee maker had to be moved to the desk in order to be used-probably the only real complaint. Wardrobe instead of a regular closet was a bit small but there was plenty of storage otherwise.

We have stayed there 4 nights with my friend. We hired two fifteen rooms. Rooms were clean and tidy. Service was really good.People were so friendly from reception to the bar.There was no mistakes or anything like that.Overall,My friend’s and my experience were very good. Nothing to complain. Thanks to all. Highly recommended

We had a family get together and the St. James was a perfect location. It was convenient to everything, and perfect for parade watching. Every person on the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating. They really made our stay special. The hotel is an older building that has been repaired and upgraded in fits and starts, so there are some quirks and oddities. We found them charming, but if you're expecting all the fancy amenities of a newer motel, you may be disappointed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
