Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

The hotel is in dire need of a renovation, particularly the lobby. The bed was more like a water bed and for the price per night, it is not worth it. Prime location and friendly staff but hotel felt and looked cheap. Drainage issues with the bathtub.

We arrived ahead of check-in and was greeted with professionalism and courtesy by Front Desk Clerk - Agent Latrell. She assisted us with our luggage and upon research room availability was able to check us in early after our long flight. She informed us of hotel many amenities and also assisted us with details regarding concierge services. Agent Latrell displayed excellent customer service skills and was refreshing beginning to our exciting stay in Sheraton hotel, New Orleans. Many thanks to Agent Latrell and the amazing staff, from our outstanding housekeeping team to the crew in concierge lounge we will always have fond memories of our stay and plan to return in 2026. We highly recommend to anyone seeking a quality stay to consider Sheraton hotel 500 Canal St...ask for Agent Latrell too!👍🏽💯

Something not quite right with this hotel. 4 of us were sharing one room yet there were only two cups in the room & enough tea & coffee for two people even though we queried this daily. After returning home there were 6 pending transactions from my bank account. 3 transactions were paid out yet I never made any purchases (queried with credit card company who said I made chip n pin txns, oh no I didn't). Contact email bounces back & telephone number goes to Starbucks then disconnects. The company I booked with has tried to resolve the financial error, Sheraton admitted their mistake & said refund would arrive in 15 days, when it didn't they then said they could not find my booking !!!

I had to cancel two reservations for my employees who fell ill before a conference held and they both had reservations with the Sheraton New Orleans. Working the staff to assist in getting the reservations canceled was by far one of the BEST experiences I have ever had. Sarah, was so kind, prompt and made the entire process so easy. I’ve had over 10 years of experience booking hotels for multiple members of my team and sometimes life just gets in the way. Sheraton of New Orleans, as well as several other resorts have consistently provided OUTSTANDING customer service. This is why I have been a Bonvoy Member and prefer to stay at any of their hotels. It just does not get better when it comes to customer service, hotel amenities, the most comfortable and clean rooms!! So HUGE thank you to Sarah and her team for continuing to provide the BEST service I have experienced compared to other hotel and resort organizations.

Great business hotel! staff pleasant and accommodating! I stayed here for business and my Bonvoy platinum status was recognised with upgraded room. I was attending a conference and the conference facilities were great with no complaints!
