Old 77 Hotel

Very large room, great location, amazing restaurant, and a very reasonable room rate. Probably our favorite hotel of the half dozen we've stayed at in New Orleans. The room was probably twice as large as any other that we've stayed at in town and the rate was probably half what we've paid elsewhere.

This hotel is in the perfect location to appreciate NOLA. We walked everywhere and transportation was easy to find to the destinations that were out of reach. It was festival season so whether we were at a park or not the city joined us throughout our trip.

Such a wonderful experience!!! a girlfriend’s trip for four nights. This was the perfect hotel within walking distance to everything. The staff was absolutely amazing, housekeeping was fabulous and the front office staff had great recommendations for tours and restaurants. Highly recommend for your next trip to the big easy!

The hotel is cool and sleek. However, the hotel is loud. We had to change rooms due to a "buzzing sound" and hearing the sub-woofer from the club across the street. The front desk was accommodating and changed rooms for us. In the next room, we experienced noise from the room above during the night and early morning. The hotel is not well insulated and you can hear noise all around you. The beds are comfortable and the showers are great. There is a great coffee bar downstairs which was really convenient. The hotel is located about 15-20 minute walk to the French Quarter and very close to the warehouse district. Be aware there is no valet or anyone to help you with your bags, you have to schlep your bags up to the room yourself. Also, there is no parking valet and you have to park your car in a garage next to the hotel, which was about $37/day. If you intend to spend your stay drinking in the French Quarter, this hotel is for you! However, we are an "older" couple and the hotel was too loud for us and we were not expecting the inconvenience of the whole dropping off our bags and parking our car ordeal. We arrived on a Friday night, and the experience was incredibly stressful.

Great hotel. The only issue was Ohm Lounge across the street. Our room was right by it and they had heavy bass going all night til 2am. It was hard to sleep. Parking close. Coo vibe to the hotel. Would stay there again. Nice place to relax in the lobby to just hang out.
