Clarion Inn Morgan City

The Morgan City location recently swapped over from Directv to Roku. Roku relies on a good internet service which this facility definitely does NOT have. In fact this hotel has some of the worst internet I have seen in a Business type hotel. I was at the bar last night and the conversation of how poor the Internet is and how the TV's have to buffer and you miss the content of the show you are watching. There were near a dozen residents in there and we all agree that this is unacceptable. The employees here are on the front line and they are tired of having to apologize for such poor performance. They are good people but Clarion has chosen cost over providing a good service to your patrons. So, if you travel for business you will have poor internet. If you are there for relaxation and want to view TV....forget it! Roku freezes up and buffers every 5 minutes or so. Cannot believe in today tech. environment that a facility would have such bad service.

My boat was in a shipyard near by. Just for convenience I decided to stay off the boat a couple weeks and chose the Clarion. Made a good choice. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Restaurant and staff there were great. Over all a good experience.

Staff is super friendly! The location was convenient to a meeting I was attending in Morgan City. Room was large with a regular size table and four chairs. Bed was comfortable, I slept well. It is an affordable hotel and very clean. The room I had was facing the pool. It was very quiet, but being a cool day, no one was at the pool.

It's a great hotel for the price range and has a more relaxed atmosphere. and good food / great restaurant...Morgans :) Great staff both at the hotel and restaurant, great rooms, clean linens and towels, great delivery service, great people :)

My husbands company book him this hotel. It’s older and that isn’t the issue the fact that’s it’s OLD and DIRTY is the issue. The room as we entered smelt old. Lamps had about an inch of dust, Spiderwebs in corners of the room as if that wasn’t enough a roach was crawling up the curtain by our bed.That was it we quickly grabbed our stuff and left!
