Tru by Hilton Lafayette River Ranch

Room VERY small! Bed had to be a slab of marble with a sheet over it. Charged 50.00 extra for certified service animal. (Not legal)…. Not an emotional service animal. Was told the is what they charge everyone. Water pressure was good. The one positive.

The hotel room was about the size of a dorm room. There is no space to do any of my business work at the desk. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom and in the living area. The toilet did not work and I had to fix it myself.the television also does not carry NBC or Fox. When I asked about these issues, no concessions were given whatsoever so I decided to immediately check out.

Horrible place. Booked based on Hilton name and location for family funeral. Booked thru Hilton Honors. Never again will I fail to read reviews. Dirty, no closet, no drawers, no chair except for desk chair. Paid approx 150 per night for 2 rooms for family members. Did not leave as soon as I saw the room because I had prepaid at Hilton Honors rate. Also exhausted from delayed flight and grief because there for funeral of a loved one v

Stayed for business the night of 7/10. Woman working the front desk the morning of 7/11 was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. Not somebody I would want greeting guests at my hotel. Room was dirty and housekeeping was very bothering this morning while trying to conduct work and phone calls from my room.

I prepaid and booked a room online. I notified the hotel of my check in time, and selected my room. When I arrived at check in time, I was told that my room wasn't ready, and that my reservation was not paid. I attempted to show the front desk representative my digital receipt and confirmation, but she dismissed me and stated that the confirmations look as if they are paid, but actually are not. I checked my account and advised her that my account was in fact charged for the room. Again, she dismissed my complaint and told me that I would need to pay before I could receive a key. With no other options, I presented my card and was charged almost 30.00 more for my room than what I was charged online. The room was small, dirty, and there were no streaming apps on the tv. One of the elevators was inoperable, forcing the entire hotel to share 1 elevator. At checkout, I spoke with a different front desk agent, who claimed that she did not see a second reservation. I requested a manager and she advised me that I would need to wait until tomorrow to speak with a manager. I contacted customer service because I did not feel good about leaving the issue unresolved, but the hotel was also unwilling to cooperate with their service department. She created a ticket for my issue. The staff was incredibly rude, although I was nothing but respectful.
