Candlewood Suites Lafayette an IHG Hotel

This hotel was horrible the gym had crappy equipment and it was in the same room as the washers and dryers so it was very hot in there and the rooms had a horrible musty smell bed’s uncomfortable and they obviously allow people to smoke dope in their rooms. The entire hall way stunk like a skunk had died. I complained to the front desk multiple times and nothing was done and it was overpriced

This, far it has been a quiet stay. Room is clean and bug free. The rooms are dated but overall the stay has been great. I have more to come and I have no reason to look another place to stay. I would recommend

The rooms all had full kitchens so my family was able to cook many of their meals there. They also had fun in the indoor pool. They stayed in the new rooms which had new big smart TV's so the kids could play their games. They have already booked a stay, returning in July.

We booked our room and received a confirmation in May for an October stay. When we arrived we were told that they did not have a room for us but that they booked us into the La Quinta hotel next door...for the same rate ($330 a night). The rate was already high for a small “suite” with a kitchenette. Fortunately we made a lot of noise and got our rate reduced but we won’t be making the mistake of ever booking here again. Neither should you.

Turned out to be a roach motel..sadly. After a very long 11 hour drive, we get there late only to see critters lurking around the kitchenette. They couldn’t move us to another room. They were the only hotel that even had an availability for the night we needed due to college move in week. Gross! Wouldn’t stay there again
