Suburban Studios Hammond

Stay away from this place. The only positive experience we had here are the dealings with the employees. They all were friendly and helpful. The property is another story entirely. They don’t have a breakfast (they used to per an employee) but it’s a good thing they don’t. The food would make the roach infestation worse. We were on the third floor and with the roaches we had, I would hate to see what it was like on the lower floors. We had two rooms, and mold was in one of them. The mold was plainly seen on the window curtains. We had to move to another room since it was making those in the room sick. The hotel is supposed to be smoke-free, but several times the smell of smoke was strong in the hallway. I am through with Choice Hotels. We stayed with them twice in three months and both were extremely negative.

Hotel is actually a two-in-one, separated by floors. Hotel housekeepers were as sweet as can be. They truly made my stay worthwhile and the price is the cheapest in the area. I will be staying again...
