Clarion Inn and Conference Center

Old - In serious need of updating ! Our room was musty smelling :( and the cleanliness was lacking to say the least. There was no hot water left for showers at 10 pm and at 9 am the next morning its was warm but went cold within 5 minutes! We wont be back.

We had a few problems at first the coffee makers & air conditioning were having issues but the staff got right on it to fix the problems. The location was very convenient it had plenty of choices to dine. Mike Anderson Seafood Restaurant was on the same property. Taco Bell, Zaxby's, McDonald's, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Brew 7 and some other were within walking distance. The Tanger Mall was just up the street.

This Clarion hotel is located close to the main highway but far enough to keep car noise to a minimum. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning system was more than adequate. One nice feature is that the Michael Anderson's Seafood Restaurant is located within the hotel and is worth at least one meal during a visit. The outdoor pool in the back of the hotel is desireable during the hot and humid summer months. The breakfast is provided in the restaurant and has most typical breakfast items (as well as well prepared grits!). For the value conscious traveler, this hotel is an excellent selection.

I have never stayed at a more beautiful Clarion Inn property than this one... and it a small southern town much less. This place has a beautiful lobby, excellent restaurant and great staff. The room was well appointed and clean!!! Quiet too. Beautiful outside courtyards. It does have outside corridors) which I actually prefer, but safe, and secure. Beautiful place. Kudos to the staff and management of this property.

Please read previous review, we did. This place is older and I agree people probably do not like the outside piece. The room we had was in the second building with we like as we are older. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Best of all this place has an Amazing restaurant attached, Mike Anderson Seafood!!! Nice bartenders, Dallas was excellent and missed the name of her partner in crime! Great drinks excellent recommendations on food and appetizers. We will be staying here on our trip next year!
