La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bossier City

It was a decent place for the price…you get what you pay for. The place could have been a little better/cleaner It was a bed to sleep in and the bed was clean and thats the most important thing at a hotel. Ive stayed at worse but ive also stayed at better

The room was clean and the bed was very comfy (firm but not stiff). Floors were wood laminate but the room was very dated and could use some TLC. Continental breakfast was slim and not that appetizing. They did have fresh oranges but I had to pick through them to find a good one. Shower had decent hot water but if you are taller than 5'5" you will need to bend down. Several long term residence were present but they were quiet and respectful.

This location should not carry the La Quinta name. I’m not overly picky- but I do believe certain franchise names should be “dependable ”. Lovely front desk attendant but the property is a converted motel- NOT UPDATED at all. Things don’t need to be new but this was unacceptable. I suppose for the price it is what it is but like I said it should not be a La Quinta. I was shocked by how quiet it was so that was a pleasant surprise. The toilet had been updated and the mirror in the bathroom was great. The shower and tub were very bad.

Horrible experience checking in, I didn't want to stay there at all so we left, The bathtub was so old and stained that I didn't want to take a shower in there because it was so dirty. Manager was rude to staff and myself, did not greet us and they talked in another language in front of us. I will not be coming back.

Hot water not working in first room. I was then moved to another room where the 'hot' water was more like warm lake water on a summer day. In addition, the drain was clog so I skipped the much anticipated hot shower altogether. To make things even more miserable, the heater was not working at all. This was all the more miserable since the temps dropped down to around freezing that night. After a very long day, I was too tired to bother with yet another room change. Toughed it out then departed at sunrise the next day. Never Again!
