Hampton inn in Shreveport is sorry. Very sorry. Spoke with them resize it was wrong Hampton in canceled same day before hanging up. And they charged me for a room for a date that I was not making a reservation for. When I called the main headquarters they said the motel owed me a refund the motel refused to pay the 406.53 charged to us. I will never use a Hampton inn again. They are worthless theives.

We are Hilton Diamond members so rarely ever stay at anything but a Hilton Hotel and there have been years that we have had over 60 hotel stays in a year. We love Hilton because it is usually very consistent, friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, we feel safe and there are Hilton's just about anywhere you might want to go. Last night we stayed at this particular Hampton Inn. Check in was fine except we did not get the room we requested, even though we had checked in online the day before, because it had not been cleaned yet but that was fine. Well, it went downhill from there. We had a meeting to attend so we moved our things into our room, got settled in with things placed where we wanted and left for our meeting. We, however, did not try to plug anything in before we left, mistake!!! We got ready for bed and I have a heart monitor so the cell phone that it sends data to has to be plugged in every night. There was no electricity to my night stand so none of my things could be plugged in by the bed. I tried to plug them into the area where the TV is and no electricity there either. My husband went to the front desk, since the phone in the room had no phone jack so didn't work, and talked to Alberto, the manager on duty, about the situation. Alberto was very rude and did NOT want to have to address the problem. When my husband explained the issue his response in a very curt tone was "What do you want to do about it?" We ended up moving to another room. Alberto never apologized for the inconvenience, made my husband wait for a considerable amount of time before taking care of getting him a key to the new room. With the exception of the lady at check-in, every staff person we encountered at this hotel was exceedingly unfriendly which has never been our experience at a Hilton Hotel before. We were very disappointed in the experience at this Hampton Inn so be aware if you ever decide to stay there!!!

Karen Harper at the front desk was so helpful, kind, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed for our room, which was amazing. I loved the duvets and fluffy pillows. Karen made sure we had all the towels and other necessities we would need.

The location was great. Very convenient to the highway and surrounding area's. Each person at the front desk was extremely kind. Shout out to the front desk manager specifically! The next time I am in Shreveport I will stay at this hotel. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very disappointed with this hotel. My initial issue was that upon checking into my room, the door was open- someone left the deadbolt lock on and the door couldn't close fully. Sign of bad housekeeping. While inspecting the room, I found the bathtub to be very filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The room didn't smell fresh and was very old looking. Bad vibes. I requested a different room and while it was slightly better- the tub had been cleaned but you can still see rust spots in various places. Mini fridge was missing a rack. Phone in the room didn't work. Iron board was missing, had to go to the front desk and have them take one from another room. On top of all of that, the internet was down all night. Front desk staff was nice but this property needs major renovation. Would not stay here again.
