Motel 6 Baton Rouge LA Southeast

Not a bad Motel 6. Just not as good as others I've stayed at. No refrigerator or microwave. Very sparsely furnished. It was like they had an empty room and just threw in a few things to rent it out for the night. Can't recommend it as there is another Motel 6 about a mile south. I drove by it on the way to supper. It looks newer and is in a much more built up area, lots of stores, restaurants and gas. Next time I'm in the area I will stay there.

I was fooled by the reviews of this hotel. I was supposed to be in a non smoking room, however the smoke alarm was sitting on the desk removed from the ceiling and sitting on the table. Woke up to bugs crawling on me, 2 days later and I have bug bites all over me. Cigarette burns through the blankets, the toilet was not flushed when I got into the room, the lock was not screwed into the door, and a strong odor of smoke in the room. I understand motel 6 is a budget hotel, however that doesn’t make it okay to have a room filthy, bug ridden and overall a health code violation. This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Mattresses thrown out in the parking lot make it look abandoned! And it sure feels like it when half the rooms are being “renovated”. This hotel needs to be shut down and inspected. Complete s*itshow.

The lady that checked us in was friendly. The room was clean and simple. The price was reasonable. No coffee pot in the room. But I travel with mine anyway. The bed was comfortable. Got a good night sleep.

No frills, nice people at the front desk. They seem to care about people and try to help. Great price, great location, and Waffle House is across the parking lot! This is about a block from I-10 and a Cici's and many other inexpensive restaurants are nearby.

Car broke down in Baton Rouge and all hotels were double priced because of football game . Stayed at motel 6 to avoid 300 at holiday inn . There was Lots of activity in parking lot all night long . And woke up in middle of night to find roaches all over the room . I pulled bed away from the wall and moved the infested night stand to the door . I had no where else to go so I had to stay in room. My ride wasn't going to be able to get to me in time for checkout - I asked if I could stay an extra hour and was told no . I could buy another night . I had to wait in parking lot until my ride from Oklahoma was able to pick me up. I will pay the 300 next time . Hotels should have special accommodations for stranded guest .
