Americas Best Value Inn Alexandria

My husband and I stayed one night here and we made a horrible mistake in doing so. Shady people hanging around parking area. I wish I would have taken pics of the room. Everything was disgusting to me. Sheets were stained, sofa filthy, stains all over walls and ceiling. The board of health should visit this dump. I will NEVER ever stay at this nasty place ever again. Seriously, it should be CLOSED FOR GOOD!!!!

Terrible place, 15 flys were in the room when we walked in, place was not cleaned had someone’s used wash cloth in the bathtub, trash in the drawers, and not the mention the bag of used heroin I found on the side of my bed the next morning.

Disgusting. Rude customer service. Checked in and guy and his wife at the front desk were so rude. Walked into our room and there was MALE HUMAN LIQUIDS (if you know what I mean) on the Tv, Walls, and the bathroom. We immediately left and requested a clean room from the front desk. They said that the room was clean to begin with and there were no more clean rooms available so we needed to request a refund from Priceline which is where we got the room in the first place. Called Priceline and after being on the phone for 10 mins, they said that the hotel would not authorize the refund. So we went back in there to see why, after telling us we could just get a refund, they would deny it through Priceline. After arguing with them and them saying it was against their policy to do refunds, we walked out with $70 down the drain and no where to sleep. Screw this hotel and it’s cleaning staff and it’s management. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE, FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES SAFETY!!

Booked with Priceline and I got there at 12:47pm and quickly went to change my clothes and run out to a meeting. When I returned at 6:15 I finally got a good look at the room. It was filthy! I know these times because I have an app that follows my every move. They claimed to Price line I was there from 11:30 to 8:30pm. They also lied about when I went to tell them I was not staying because of the room condition they said they offered me another room. Mostly likely I still would not have stayed but it is an out and out lie! The front door was disgusting. There was mold on the ceiling and the bathroom mirror had toothpaste spit on it. Every hard surface (tables) had dirty finger prints on them and the couch had a layer of dust and dirt. The bed spread had what I can only hope was dried food on it. I of course did not ask for my money back at any time. I figured I was lucky not to have to sleep there as I found another place immediately. I never asked at any time for the money back. They acted like I lied, did not want the pictures so here I am. It may be cheap but there is a reason why.

Booked this hotel on Priceline.com for my family member who home was destroyed from Hurricane Laure for a few days until we can get them shelter. When she arrived the lady at the desk was rude, refused to honor their reservations yelling she didn’t have their room because it was not book by her. Refused to refund my money saying call online and get your money back, slammed the window and hung up on me. Never have I been treated this way. She also didn’t answer the phone when I called back or when representatives from Priceline call her six times. This was my first time using Priceline and they stated they can not refund my money without talking to someone from the motel🤦🏼‍♀️ NEVER AGAIN!!!
