Homewood Suites Slidell

Stayed at hotel with large wedding group, friends and family. Rooms were so nice and large and very comfortable. Front desk staff was super friendly and the cleaning staff never stopped cleaning. Amazingly clean hotel and grounds. Continental breakfast was great- large selection and tasty food with excellent coffee bar that stayed open all hours of day. We had an amazing stay. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for the night just passing through. Asked for extra towels since we had a party of 6. The hotel had ample parking and an easy lot to get around, even at our late arrival. The room was LARGE. I was not expecting it to be so spacious. The lay out was nice and really worked well so that we and all our luggage did not feel cramped. The room was clean. We did get those extra towels- thank you whoever read that and honored it. It had a full kitchen and I appreciate that as we had meds that needed refrigeration. Overall this would be a great long term stay hotel and a nice place for a family to stay. My only complaint was the pull out couch has you laying vertically instead of horizontal and we tucked a few pillows in there so that it was more comfortable than being up against the couch.

Hotel advertises free happy hour but during checkin we were informed there hasn’t been one since Covid. That was over 4 years ago. Time to update the hotel description or stop calling it a Home Suites. Every other Home Suites has a free happy hour. Would not have booked this hotel had we known that.

Homewood Suites by Hilton was the perfect place to host our group event! Amanda, Michelle & Lacresha went above & beyond to help make our event a memorable one. From the beautiful lobby and patio area to the spacious suite rooms... Everything was A-Plus! Mr. Jeff was super-friendly and accommodating to our group's needs as well. Beautiful property & the comfy clean rooms were very much appreciated by all that stayed from our group!

This is a top notch Hilton property. Completely updated, spotlessly clean, great upgraded breakfast with pastries and more. Loved it! Walmart next door, and also large plaza and restaurants close by. This is definitely one of the better Homewoods we have stayed at.
