Book a room at this hotel only if you are willing to pay them without getting a room! We booked a room at this hotel by calling their central reservation line, secured it with credit card, when we went to check-in, we were told we don't have any rooms available! After few minutes, we were told, we can give you a room, it is on second floor. When we went into the room, it had: dirty bathroom (it was really dirty), heavy mold, very bad mold smell, ceiling panels were hanging, no TV, where TV is supposed to, there were open wires, no light, only light in the room was night light on night stand, the lobby also didn't have light. When we said, this is not inhabitable room, we were told "we are under renovation and this is only thing we have". Front desk had offered that same room to three other guests before us and each one had refused to stay in there (we saw them leave the hotel in frustration). We were told since they don't have room, they shall not charge us (of course not, right?). We were charged full amount on our credit card. When we called hotel to ask them why we were charged, manager rudely hung up on us. We filed complaint with Wyndham and they asked for our complete credit card statement, receipt from other hotel we stayed at. After providing those things, they didn't do anything! We called our credit card company to dispute the charge, in response, hotel gave refund and next day, reversed the refund!!! Credit card company closed the dispute saying hotel has provided credit. But, hotel had already reversed the credit by charging credit card again!! I am not sure how can they get an occupancy certificate for their rooms from city when their rooms are in such bad shape!!

I am not one to leave bad reviews at places. I’ll usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but this was truly one of, if not the worst places we’ve ever tried to stay. I absolutely do not know how this place is still open. We reserved the room ahead of time since we would be checking in late (on a drive from OKC to Baton Rouge). We got there around 11 pm. Our first red flag should have been that the parking lot was absolutely empty. There were literally maybe 5 cars parked in the whole place, and it’s a large facility. The lobby area appears very run-down, there was no heat, and it smelled of mildew. We saw the sign on the desk that they are currently renovating, so maybe that’s what was going on (although, there were no signs of any renovations actually taking place anywhere in the hotel). They advertise that there is no breakfast, restaurant, or bar due to the renovations, but only on a sign in the lobby, and not on their website. False advertising should have been red flag number two. We were given our key and we went to our room. Room 135 was disgusting. I didn’t realize until after I got in and went to the bathroom to wash my face and get ready for bed. There was zero toilet paper in the bathroom. There were also zero towels or washcloths in the room. The bathroom sink has someone else’s hair all in it. The shower curtain holder was falling out of the wall and there was gaping hole in the wall next to the shower head where it looked like the wall was falling in on itself. The bed appeared to be cleaned, but with the rest of the room looking like it did, I was super hesitant to get into it. My husband went back up to the desk and asked if we could switch rooms. They gave us the key to 145, which was just down the hall. I had already taken my shoes off and was wearing socks. As I walked down the carpeted hallway, I was met with a giant wet spot in the floor. The hallway also reeked of mold/mildew. We went into 145, and although there was at least toilet paper and a towel, the sink was again full of hair from someone else. We decided to leave and go try to find a room elsewhere. In our haste to leave, my husband left his toiletry bag in the room. When he called back, there was someone new at the desk and he said he would go get it out of the room and put it at the front desk so we could come and get it in the morning. When we called in the morning, someone new was on and said that there wasn’t anything there. She said she would go and look in the room and then call my husband back. She did not. So he drove back down the street and waited in the lobby for 15 minutes with no one there. During that time he went to try the lobby bathrooms, and they were all stopped up, full of excrement, and not working. My husband said the smell made him gag. Again, I do not know how this place is still open. To me there are blatant health code violations that make this an unsafe place to stay in.

Under renovations so there were problems, but the staff helped with everything they could. The internet an TV did not work. I was switched to another room and the TV and remote were very good. The internet was out and it is something they need to get fixed. Beds and the room I was in 115 was very good with no problems except the internet. No breakfast buffet or continental. You need to get more for your money. Would like to come back here again but not until everything is completed.

What a terrible experience! The place is supposedly under renovation after being closed for several months. The place looks worse than many third world disaster zones I have lived and worked in. Upon arrival in the late evening, piles of dirty laundry littered the hall, ceiling tiles were sagging or missing, and fire detectors were inoperable. We occupied three rooms. In my room the ceiling tiles were filthy, water stained, and covered in active mold. The fire / smoke alarm was inoperable when tested, the room was absolutely filthy, the bead spread wadded up and thrown in the top of the closet. There was no phone. If it was even possible, the other two rooms were worse. When we brought this to the night desk clerk's attention, she was disinterested and said she would bring it to the attention of her manager. The nest morning I talked with the Assistant GM who asked me what I expected. I pointed out that at the time of booking there was no mention of renovations or that there would be no breakfast, restaurant, or bar. She said she would talk to her GM and call me back. Later that afternoon I had to call her. She said the GM said there was nothing that they could do. I said then we will check out. She said that because it was after 4:00 p.m. we would be charged for the first night and the second night. I pointed out that we had been trying to resolve the issue since the night before. She said there was nothing she could do. We were miserable and felt terrible deceived and taken advantage of.
