Loews New Orleans Hotel

We picked this hotel because it's listed as a union hotel. It was great. We had a quiet room on the top floor. The view was great. The workout room had lots of equipment and was easy to access. The bar downstairs was friendly and convenient. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job. Well recommended.

The hotel check in was quick and easy. Needed to follow up with front desk for uber credit that was included in our stay, even though I was told at check in that a text would be sent to include the credit. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. Cori at the bar took care of us. She was super kind, accommodating, and professional. She did a wonderful job serving us. Would definitely go back.

The front desk clerk was phenomenal She was friendly assertive and on point everyone was nice but she was the best her name is Beverly Thumbs up The only thing I was wondering why isn't it microwaves in the rooms?? But otherwise we enjoyed our stay

The hotel was very nice and the location is pretty decent - Poydras and Tchoupitoulas. Right in the warehouse district, not far from the WWII museum and pretty close to the French Quarter. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were there for a reunion and the cocktail event was very nice. Great bartender and the food snacks were good. We went for a late night snack in Bar Peters. The crab cakes were outstanding and the margarita was absolutely terrific!! The bar tenders and the chef came out to chat and were amazing people. We had a great evening with a group of 10 or 12. No problems for the staff, even with some high maintenance individuals!!

My friend and I stayed here for our reunion weekend. We shared a king suite ( we wanted a more spacious room) and I volunteered to sleep on the sofa bed, expecting it to be adequate. Not so! It seemed to be missing a top mattress as it was very firm and had cracks between the sections that pulled out. Also there was no bedding provided. When they finally brought some up, they didn't bring a mattress cover, nor a comforter cover. The comforter they provided had visible stains. They also only brought one lumpy pillow. It took 3 follow up requests and a full day to finally get better bedding. Also, they never remade the bed for me as they did remake the other bed. So, if you plan to use the "sleeper" sofa, please know it is really not a good option! It seems intended only to be used for sitting! Otherwise, the staff was courteous, the room was a bit tired but basically clean and the location was convenient. I expected higher standards from Lowes!
