This hotel is suppose to be part of IHG’s luxury brand. What a huge joke. This was easily the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Took over 30 minutes to check in. With no one else in line. The elevators didn’t work in the hotel. Who has an elevator that doesn’t work at all. The ice machine on my floor didn’t work. When I got ready to leave it took the valet over an hour to get my SUV. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay in this sad excuse for a hotel. I wouldn’t stay again if it was free.

We arrived for a tournament at the Convention Center. All 3 elevators were broken. They were able to get one running off and on for the weekend but never consistent. We were located on a much higher floor, and I had recently had knee surgery and unable to do stairs. I was stuck in the lobby for 2 hours until one elevator worked for 30 minutes before shutting down again. My husband got stuck in the elevator twice. At one point I was stuck in our room for 3 hours as the elevators were nonfunctioning again. They did not have a service elevator to use. If an emergency had occurred, I would have been stuck on the 7th floor. This hotel goes against every ADA policy. They were unable to move us to a room lower down. People were having to carry the bags sometimes up to the 10th floor. The water was lukewarm at best and poor water pressure. I have stayed at Indigo Hotels in the past and had great experiences. This one we will never return to. After the second night we checked out and moved to a much better hotel with safer accommodations. Speaking with everyone who stayed, they said the elevators never became functionally operational even after 3 days!

Amazing hotel and the most kind staff. We were worried staying in the city but the entire stay we felt comfortable and enjoyed seeing all new Orleans has to offer. Loved learning all about the community and seeing all its beautiful buildings.

Solid three star (out of five) hotel. Rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. Fixtures show minor signs of wear, but not to the degree of “worn.” Staff has been friendly and attentive. Restaurant/bar is understaffed and over-lit. Food and beverage but it’s really not worth it with so many amazing options nearby. Wouldn’t rely on the restaurant for more than coffee and wine/beer; the breakfast buffet is perfunctory at best. Staffing in the restaurant was super minimal - basically two people in the front at most. Prior reviews seem to prioritize the ice machines - the one on our floor was indeed out of order, but given that these machines are breeding grounds for bacteria, I’m not sure why people put so much emphasis on them. Perhaps some folk just demands filthy ice on demand. Regardless, we found this hotel to be comfortable and well located.
