About to fall asleep and find a roach beside my bed after that I turn lights on and end up killing 10 more. I ask for refund told to talk to manager in morning no sleep for me 2night unless in my car

I checked in around 8:45p. I was told that I had been assigned to a smoking room. I said, why would request that since I just had heart surgery two weeks ago. Now I should mention there was a desk clerk and a trainee. The desk clerk was fine. The trainee was as rude as hell and gave off an aura of not caring. This upset me more. I realize that it is a football weekend in Lexington and that rooms are at a premium. But I made the reservations at least a month ago. When I arrived in the room, it reeked of smoke. Furthermore the covers on both beds had holes in them. I was very unhappy. Now, to be fair, ten minutes after I arrived in the room, the clerk called and offered another room, this time nonsmoking. The room is clean and everything seems to work. It's much better. I guess the lesson is that when making an online reservation, use the box that asks for special instructions. If not offered, call the modem in advance or before paying and tell them what your needs are. Then, when you arrive and it's not what you ordered, you have a leg to stand on a some negotiating room. I also asked the clerk aside. I told him that he had been very polite and helpful but that his trainee needed a lot of work in customer relations. Just plain ordinary politeness would have been nice.

Got listing from Bookings.com made reservations in April 2022 for April 26 thru May 1 2022. Hotel looked run down but checked in and got room 18, took key and entered room only one light in room, turned tv on and all there was on screen was lines. Went back up to front desk told employee and he issued key for room 19. Entered room 19 tv worked but air conditioner did not. Decided that this hotel was not for us. Went back up to desk and told employee we are not staying here and requested a copy of cancellation and refund, he said refund and cancellation would come from Booking.com. Been trying for going on two months and two e-mails to Booking.com to no avail. Will not ever use Booking.com and hope people spread the word.

We stayed here just overnight to sleep while traveling. I received friendly service here. The room was run down and smelled of cigarettes badly even though we had a non-smoking room. Wouldn't recommend unless it was the last choice available.

We were traveling from Ont Canada to Phoenix AZ and this hotel was our first stop. The rooms were dirty and had a lot of damage in the bathroom as well as missing bulbs and worn carpet. Would not recommend this hotel.
