Hampton Inn Lexington South Keeneland Airport

I've stayed here multiple times with no issues till my last visit when they charged me a parking fee. I called around and no other Hampton/Hilton properties do this in the Lexington area. It's not the amount it's the principal of it, there a fairly new Hampton inn a few miles away in nicholasville that now has my business. What's next, charging a fee for Internet or for TV channels? I travel all over the country and 99% of the time I stay at Hampton inns, some in very prime tourist locations and never been charged to park so I'm certainly not going to pay an additional fee in Lexington Kentucky when there are plenty of other "some better" options to stay

While I have stayed at this hotel for years including during Covid when I had to get my own towels and bedding empty my trash can I never had an issue and have always had a good stay. They now charge to park and if you refuse you maybe towed in the middle of the night by the tow company listed in the parking lot. This hotel is not in the city or a congested area so why the fee? And a threat of being towed while I sleep? Many other choices around. Enjoy your extra cash Management I’m sure the front desk team members appreciate coming to work to be argued with over your extra gains. Nice

Beware and check your bill!! After leaving the hotel and reviewing my invoice, I was charged a $5 parking fee. Keep in mind that this Hampton is nowhere near congestion, a city, or anywhere else that would trigger a parking fee. Regardless, they never asked if I was parking a vehicle!!! I could have Uber’d or shared a ride with a colleague. My only interaction with the front desk was to get a physical key because they didn’t trigger mine to work through my online check in. They never asked if I had a car with me. How many customers have been screwed on this regardless of the small charge? It’s really a BBB issue but not worth my time. Poor business practice for sure. The rooms were upgraded. Rather dusty. Interior room doors were old and plastic and in bad shape. Elevator was musty. Long time diamond member. Can’t recommend this location.

Hotel was adequate but I noticed on my bill that they charge $5.33 for parking. I could understand if this was a busy metro area or if it was a secure lot. But this is a safe residential and business headquarter area. Ridiculous policy. This will be my last stay at this property.

Other guests have complained about the same things three months ago and still there is no change. I'm wondering about my sheets being changed because no one there seems to give a care. This is the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. Terrible
