Candlewood Suites Lexington Medical District an IHG Hotel

The hotel was fine but not worth $180. Floors were dirty in the elevator and in our bathroom. Room was small. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was very weak and it took a long time for the water to get hot. Checking in and out was easy. Quiet location.

Since we had a great experience at another Candlewood in the past we decided to give this one a try and it did not disappoint! The king suite was basically an efficient two room apartment with everything that one would need. Comfortable (mattress and otherwise), quiet, clean, friendly, and with truly great coffee too. It was exactly what we needed!

This hotel is the worst experience i have ever had. I book a king suit after my husband was released from the hospital past midnight. We was both very tired. We got our keys went to our room. Walked into a room with 2 queen beds instead of king. I ask the front desk why I did not get the king they said they had none available. I said but I booked it. We were to tired to argue. I told the font desk we wanted to move so I booked the king again. They said we had to stay in the room we was in . I called in a complaint but the customer service people would just hang up on me after I would tell them our story. I called the hgi and had them book it so I could get the room we needed . I asked for a room that had a handicap shower a one bedroom suite. We we got there it was a standard 2 queen beds no handicap shower..wow people just dont care about disabled people. I will be canceling my credit card with them and my accounts. I will not do business with heartless companies

Love the one bedroom suite set up. Plenty of room. Pillows are great. The only thing that would have made it better is a keurig kcup coffee maker! The bathroom is spacious and I love that they put a laundry basket with shelves in the bathroom to do laundry. The washer and dryer are free to guests which is great!

Surprisingly nice. Could be a very small apartment with a basic kitchen, closet, and bathroom. If I had to stay here a week or two, I could make some food myself. Which is really nice. Obviously it's not meant for long term living, but it will do nicely, IMHO.
