We stayed here because our normal choice for stays in Wichita was full and on BOOKING.COM it advertised as "breakfast included." However, when we checked in, we found out that "breakfast included" translates into, you can buy breakfast if you want. By the way: It's expensive. When we got to our room the temperature was set to 56-degrees. It felt like a meat locker. We arrived at 10:00 PM and when trying to come in the side door closest to the parking lot, the sprinklers were running and we got wet. Why aren't these running in the middle of the night? There was plenty of parking The Hilton App doesn't work for your room key. Water pressure in the rooms was very low. It made taking a shower more difficult. There is a sliding door to the bathroom that squeals when it latches. Very annoying when other people are sleeping. It was also hard to open/close. At the time of our stay (July 2024) there was construction across the street that wakes you up. The bed was comfy but pillows too soft. Couch was very uncomfortable. Lights were not very bright so the room was too dark when shades are closed and at night. There is no alarm clock so you need to keep your phone handy. The built in USB ports were iffy.

Here I am again for work. Last time I had no water so this time I told them to call my room if they decided to shut off the water again. They completely ignored me. I only stay here because this is where my employer puts me. I will never pay my own money to stay at an Aloft. Not even for free!

JR at the front desk is one of the best I've ever encountered. I've traveled for 30 years for business and JR makes me feel at home everytime I walk in the front door. I like Aloft in general, but love this Wichita, KS location due to JR along with several other employees.

The accommodations were superb, including a TV that showed Prime, YouTube, Netflix, and Pandora. The accommodations were pleasant, although I disliked the shower since water frequently ended up on the floor, and instead of a microwave, there was a safe and a very small fridge. I recommend booking a room on a corner because they are considerably bigger. The worker at the front desk was friendly and eager to help customers with concerns. Another issue was that one cleaner said they couldn't understand or speak English, which I considered a complete lie.

We were visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday 2022 I had a newborn and a toddler. The room was not clean (counter/tabletops/shower) and smelled like a wet dog, especially the bed. I really wish that hotels would reserve certain rooms for pets only (just like the smoking rooms) if they are going to allow pets. I was told their were no more 2 queen bed rooms available, and no one could clean the room because the cleaning staff had gone home 🫤 The manager said we could get it cleaned first thing in the morning. I do not recommend this hotel.
