Stayed here 3 nights while visiting the Ark Encounter. It is an older place but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was cereal, waffles, yogurt, muffins, juice and coffee. It would be nice if they had a toaster for toast and bagels but the breakfast was okay. The location is next door to the Ark Encounter which is why we picked it. I would stay there again. The Mexican restaurant within walking distance was convenient and the food was great.

Stayed one night on our way to Nashville as we wanted to visit Ark Encounter and location was perfect. Hotel as expected for budget price. Clean but well worn. Beds comfortable if you like softer mattresses. Pool clean but chairs and umbrella pretty beat. Breakfast ok. Staff and owners very pleasant and accommodating. Would stay again.

The plus of this hotel is location. Next door to the entrance of Ark Encounter, and with a great Mexican restaurant adjacent to it. Desk clerk was nice and helpful, no complains there. The negatives, patches on the ceiling, paint all over the smoke detector (so not working), some more patching and painting around the toilet, stains on the sheets, a hand written note on a piece of paper, taped on the wall saying "do not flush ...", a wrinkled laminated sheet with the channels guide. If the room is not in good condition, do not offer it. Fix it and then you can charge more, but this way you won't get people returning, no matter how cheap.

My wife and I normally stay at Motel 6/Hotel 8 places that accept dogs. This place is a bit nicer than any of those, but at the same price. For a "2 star" hotel, it is pretty nice. The staff is friendly. It's right next to the Ark Encounter and a nice Mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy - but it's clean, comfortable, convenient, and easy on the wallet.
