Hampton Inn Owensboro South

This hotel certainly does not meet Hilton standards. The hotel is tired and outdated. Wish I would’ve listened to some of the other reviews I saw on Tripadvisor. Just take a look at the picture that I have attached of the rust in the bathtub. Can’t believe that Hilton would allow this.

Quit possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The photos speak for themselves. I didn’t get a pic of the mop bucket with dirty water constantly sitting in the lobby. The mirror wasn’t cleaned because a previous guest wrote “Boo” on it. Or maybe it was housekeeping. 🤷🏻‍♀️ All of the hallways look like these photos. The hairbrush is not mine…

Had a problem upon checking in and it was resolved with no further difficulties. Room was very clean, a/c worked perfectly.. Breakfast had good choices. Heather and Chris at the front desk were outstanding employees, very professional, courteous and friendly. This will be my place to stay if back in area.

This is hotel is located in a good area with lots of restaurants close by. It is also right off Highway 60 which makes it convenient. The hotel itself is nice. The room was dated and in need of remodeling but was clean which is the main point with me. The bathroom had an overhead light out above the sink and the sink itself was positioned too high. Never seen one like that before in a hotel. We just stayed one night because it was close to where we wanted to be but probably would not stay there again. Even though close to main highway, noise from traffic was not too bad. Most of the staff were friendly. We did notice the pool was closed. Not sure why but I am sure it would be a disappointment if that was something you were looking forward to doing. Parking is very limited and tight.

The location was central to several restaurants and retail stores. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile and welcomed with open arms. The staff there are all happy and seems to enjoy their jobs. The King suite was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
