Hotel was run down. The bar and restaurant were not open. The deadbolt in our room was broken and our door was open when we arrived. Temperature in the room was not consistent. Linens and towels were thin and low quality. Bed was not comfortable. Front staff at check in was friendly.

DEFINITELY rip off.. Should be rated a 2 star hotel. Needs serious updating. It's a shame because the "bones" of the place show it WAS a could be an exceptional place. They clearly were BARE MINIMUM on everything. Mattress older, had stains, comforter over used and dingy, sheets cheap and dingy, pillows were tiny, lumpy old, the smell was .. not fresh. Tiny cheap towels, no shampoo in the bathroom, Truthfully was uncomfortable and I was concerned there'd be bugs. The garage parking is unsafe imo. Large portions of the hotel are closed down, the breakfast wasnt really edible. No bar, no restaurant. Not enough outlets for devices. They hadn't even bothered to update the list of channels on the TV. Everything was bare minimum. MINIMAL effort for the price. And to charge so much?

Visiting area distilleries trip. Mostly clean and breakfast was good. Convenient location downtown with short drives to Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Woodford, Castle and Key. 3-minutes to Buffalo Trace. The hotel itself could use a face-lift... older furnishings. The was probably a bustling spot in its heyday. Lobby was a bit dark and bar area was not open. Good value though... would stay here again.

A faded glory of a hotel. In its prime, it must have been very impressive, but it is well past its heyday. Dreadfully dated, and the lobby was so gloomy, it had areas that looked as though they should have been in a care home. Having said that , the staff were good, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was OK. I would stay there again

I had stayed here in the distant past and decided to do so again while in town to perform at a nearby park. I stayed just the one night. The hotel had undergone some nice upgrades from Hotel Impossible TV show and the waterfall in the lobby is breathtaking. The clerk was great as she showed my photos of how to enter the parking garage. There is a free breakfast in the mornings and it has a lot of food items. The only thing not 100% was that my room shows signs of wear and tear. It w good though and I would stay agian.
