Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Erlanger KY

This is a wonderful place to stay. The king bed room appears to have been renovated recently. The bathroom was all new. Everything was clean and worked. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. I can’t recommend enough. I stayed one night on a Thursday for under $65.

My daughter and I stayed last week as the first leg of a trip to Mexico. Our flight was super early and we did not want to drive 50 minutes to the airport. We decided paying the $100 was worth not leaving at 3:30 AM. 1. We were really pleased with the location. Only 9 minutes to CVG airport. It is also next to a Target and I walked to the casino to waste time while my daughter took a long shower and did her hair before bed. 2. For the price, we were overly surprised at the cleanliness. For only $100, I was sure it going to be falling apart or completely outdated. Could the hotel use some love? Yes, some improvements can be made but furnishings and rooms were fairly up to date and we had no maintenance issues at all. For the price, we had no complaints regarding the conditions. It actually exceeded our expectations. 3. We did not get to utilize the breakfast or the airport shuttle, due to our flight taking off at 6AM. Neither the shuttle or the breakfast were in service before we needed to leave. We are not complaining regarding either. We understand that CVG is not a hub airport, so overnight shuttles are not a thing anymore. We also had a late flight returning and did not want to wait for a shuttle when we both had work and school early upon return. We already knew we would be parking in the garage at CVG anyway. Overall, we would definitely book again before another flight.

Pros -Almost all the staff was friendly and helpful. Location to Airport (6 Minute drive) Breakfast was Good and Free with stay Room Smelled clean Nice Fridge and microwave set up in room Cons-The pictures are very deceiving -This hotel is old and needs more than paint The beds are full not queens Elevator was dirty This is hotel that was probably very nice 35 year ago. Overall if the price would have been about $70 a night, I would say I got what I paid for, unfortunately that was not the case. Go one or 2 exits south and stay in the new hotels. Pictures are a LIE very old inside.

This hotel had so many issues. It was older with stained carpets. There were no hand rails in the bathroom. Handicap parking is up an incline. Going down to breakfast, two police officers were evicting someone from the lobby. When I went to check out the clerk was watching a religious program. I interrupted after standing there for a few minutes ( long enough to hear about the blood of Jesus) Even after I told him that I wanted to check out, he continued with his church business, putting his paperwork in a manilla envelope and not waiting on me, or the man behind me that was starting to form a line. The location was good, the property was not.

This is a very old building. I think they tried to update it but unless you gut it, it remains old. And it was dirty. Hair all over the bathroom floor. I’m pretty sure the TV remote had never been wiped down, I had wipes with me. Front desk clerk was very nice and directed us to a wonderful restaurant ( Greyhound Tavern) for dinner. The beds were comfortable, the pillows are small.
