Hampton Inn Topeka

Great location to Washburn University and lots of food and shopping around. Breakfast was average, the elevators are slow and sounded like the hydraulics were going to give way when you stop. I would suggest not getting an even number room that faces the highway, the windows are not well insulated so it is white noise in a way until a semi has a flat or is in the wrong gear. I was disappointed that no one answered my chat question on the first night of breakfast time - never got a response. I sent a chat as no one was at the desk. For digital key holders this info needs to be in the room or on the app.

One night stay, arrived late. There was plenty of parking, lot was well-lit and clean, felt safe unloading the car. Check in/out was smooth, efficient, and very friendly. Room was reasonably sized and in good, very clean condition. Everything we used worked. Included breakfast was a pretty standard hot items, the waffle maker was a nice addition. With a reasonable price, this was an excellent value for this class of hotel and overall experience. Would certainly stay again.

Long day of travel. Right off the freeway. Reasonable priced. Clean. Stayed here before. Getting a little worn. Cracker Barrel and Texas Roadhouse next door so we can walk over. 4 out of 5 cause the beds are hard and are a Killer on the shoulders.

We stayed in this hotel while traveling on I-70 . We did not have the reservation and just walked in . The Front Desk person was very accommodating and found us the room pretty quickly . Hotel was clean and quite. Free Breakfast in the morning was pretty sufficient . There were lots of restaurant around this hotel. We are highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling through Topeka

I needed a room while traveling to Colorado to help break up the trip. On short notice, I learned of a family member in the hospital and I needed to get there as soon as possible. I called immediately (the morning of my reservation) to cancel. I apologized for the short notice due to unfortunate circumstances....the front desk clerk just coldly stated, they were still going to charge me. Can't wait to "not stay there again"...
