Hillcrest Motel

The decorating was dated. But who cares? The price was very reasonable, the room and sheets were very clean, and it had a nice TV that I watched an NBA game on. And the people running it were very friendly. If you are looking for a posh stay, this isn't it, but I kind of liked the retro feel!

If “newness” is not a criteria for your hotel stay, this is a good deal. Price was great, clean, comfortable, and (as others have said) everything worked. Hot shower, king size bed. Did not eat continental breakfast here so cannot comment on that.

Clean and completely adequate. Some minor repairs needed (ex. our screen door closer was broken.) Vintage drive up to your room motel. Microwave, fridge, wifi. When we stayed in June 2022, the pool had been out of service since COVID, even though they still advertised online & in signage that they have a pool, so don't go for the pool. Breakfast was 2 kinds of cereal, juice, and coffee, which was fine with us. Nice feature: sink in good-sized enclosed room with bench, then another enclosed room on through that with toilet & tub.

This was an excellent place to grab some good sleep as we traveled to Denver. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a quaint, old fashioned appearance from the road that I liked - The room appearance is a bit dated but very adequate. The area was quiet, no traffic noise. Great place to stop!

We stayed at the Hillcrest Motel on a trip to Colorado Springs. This motel is a bargain; it's an old fashioned place where you fill out the card to check in. The rooms are outdated, but they are clean, which is more important to me than being modern. There's a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and large flat screen TV. There is a small continental breakfast in the office, which was two kinds of cereal and a small cinnamon roll, which was fine for us. We would stay here again if in the area.
