Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Overland Park Convention Center

Utterly standard, non-descript, generic hotel stay. Staff was helpful and courteous, breakfast was tasty and satisfying. I would have liked a couple of chairs outside the laundry room so that I didn't have to keep going back and forth to check whether my load was done.

What a great place to stay. We were attending a conference at the Church of the Resurrection. The Holiday Inn was about 15 minutes away, with plenty of shopping and restaurant choices nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was included and it was delicious. My husband utilized the exercise room and found it to be just what he needed each morning. The pool looked really nice to and wished we had brought out bathing suits. A comfortable stay, we would highly recommend and plan to stay again the next time we are in Kansas City.

Rizza is an amazing person. She has a non-stop smile and an infectious positive attitude. My 7 yo flooded our bathroom because we had a handicapped shower with a handheld shower head and no borders or step to contain the water. The water soaked the bathroom floor and the towels. Rizza was so understanding, helpful, and kind. I was embarrassed but she took care of the mess. Also, the hotel was fully booked with a lot of soccer teams and she smiled all evening with an attitude of how can I help you. Thank you for not shaming us.

Our room was great and enough room for all 5 of us to be in. We stayed there because it was next to the Children's Mercy Hospital and my grandkid had to be on an 8 hour cleanse before their procedure. We really liked our stay and the grandkids even enjoyed the pool. They had drinks and snacks in the evenings but we didn't partake. In order to get breakfast you had to pay $12.95 plus tax per person which I thought was a bit much but my daughter thought it was okay. I even had to pay that for my grandkid! The beds were comfortable and we asked for extra pillows and received them. There was extra coffee and tea in the lobby along with fruity water to drink. No daily newspaper. They did have an exercise room available for 24 hours.

A great stay and friendly staff! We stayed for 4 nights in May 2023. The entire hotel is freshly renovated. The rooms are spacious and big. We had a 1-bedroom suite. The beds are very comfortable!! And the microwave and fridge were very convenient. The pool was spacious and clean as was the exercise room. I would add cleaning wipes for equipment in the fitness room. The breakfast buffet is wonderful!!! Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and family friendly!
