Older Inn, could use some update but ok for a couples stay. Breakfast 5 am to 11 am nice way to start your day. Front desk good, Internet on our case up and down, maybe just our phones. Like most lots in Devil's Lake could use concrete repair. Would stay again price fair just don't expect the Hilton but fine for average stay. .. . .

I thought the room was OK and had a decent shower and the best tv I have experienced in a hotel. A major downside is the awful parking lot not everyone has an all terrain vehicle. Did not try the breakfast but imagine it is standard for a small hotel.

Good hotel. Seems to be locally owned and operated. Has been remodeled in the last few years. Good sized rooms, clean. Good breakfast, good selection. Will stay at again. Do not know what to say but nice place to stay.

The rooms were suppose to be remodeled. They have been painted and flooring changed but if they updated the the beds. The worst beds ever: The mattress cover was a small blanket type thing that when you lay down it clumps up under the cardboard type sheets that pop off mattress when you lay down. The pillows were probable made out of hard foam. The continental breakfast advertised: omelets, sausage, assorted fruit. There was no omelettes, sausage, assorted fruit (unless you considered assorted fruit as canned diced peaches). one morning the only thing they had was the waffle maker that was almost out of batter and cereal with milk. Finally pets are allowed but when you check in you get charged $10 a night fee. That is not listed on there web site that I could find or on the third party reservation site. Not worth the price.

We came to this hotel for a wedding and it was the only one what had rooms available. There must have been a reunion in town. We were Leary at first when we pulled in. The outside isn’t very inviting at all. Once we went in and checked in we were pleasantly surprised. The lobby looked bright and updated. The staff was friendly and check in was quick. Once inside the room another surprise. The room was clean and updated as well! Carpeting, furniture looked new. Tv was a smart tv with a lot of stations bathroom was good size. Shower was old but it was still good. However there was a drawback. I left for Walmart later in the day and when I returned our door didn’t want to latch shut. We tried and tried . Looking at it it appeared someone tried to break in. We immediately notified the front desk and within minutes a man came and temporarily fixed the issue so the door would close and lock again. But we were getting the feeing he was blaming us for the damage. We had to leave for a wedding so we didn’t have time to deal with him right then. He did say he would have the cameras checked. We returned later in the afternoon and asked if they checked and saw anything. She had to call him and ask. He said nothing was found and than she proceeded to say well did you prop the door with the deadbolt? Same thing the maintenance man asked! And we said a firm NO!!! We did not try to break into our own room!!! So there better not be a charge for it. On main point we also want to make is the side entry doors are NOT locked during the night…!!! Anyone can just come in at any hour of the day or night. Another security issue is when people in front of us were checking in the front desk would say aloud the room number . I work in a hotel and that’s a big no no. We were trained to say here is your room keys with your room number and wi fi code.. Breakfast ok just cereal and toast and waffles with coffee and juice. Rooms .: walls are thin I hear my neighbors tv on Kids running the halls around midnight and slamming doors… Hard to say if we will be back to this hotel.
